Here is a 2 hour fine art slideshow for your TV containing 25 famous paintings by Vincent van Gogh. Van Gogh was a post-impressionist painter who created many of the worlds most recognizable art pieces such as "Starry Night", "Café Terrace at Night", and "Almond Blossoms" to name a few. Each of his masterpieces included in this screensaver presentation are spaced approximately 5 minutes apart and move slightly to reduce the risk of burn-in to your television. I've added the title of each painting and the year created for a few seconds at the beginning of each art piece. Thanks for watching!   • I love that the detail and clarity of the images in this video bring forth the textures of the paint on canvas. Playing on a large wall mounted tv, it is almost as if the artwork is really here.

  • Oh! Van Gogh is my favorite. I remember when I travelled to the Provence region in France and in Arles I was searching all the sites with his pictures, Langlois Bridge, les Alyscamps, the hospital's garden, le café... I enjoyed it a lot. Tks for sharing!

  • Just what I was looking for! My book club meets tomorrow at my house and we read the book "The Secret Life of Sunflowers" by Marta Mohnar. It is about Johanna Bonger Van Gogh, Vincent's sister-in-law and wife of Theo. She inherited most of his paintings, and fought to insure Vincent's legacy. This slideshow will be the perfect backdrop to our discussion!

  • I don't care in the slightest that you don't show the whole painting. I know what all of these paintings look like from afar. Moreover, it's lovely to be up close and see the individual strokes as if I was at the gallery with my nose pressed against the painting. Love this! Thank you.

    • I'm sure you mean Van Gogh... but yes DaVinci was also a one off. Geniuses both, sadly Vincent Van Gogh's talent went unrecognised during his lifetime. He was one of the first artists to see art's true impressionist role of portraying bare emotional "feel" in a world when the advent of camera technology threatened to replace "realistic" art.
