The loot goblin, to our knowledge, has won every single round with the rocket thruster, and has lost every round without it.
well to be fair, rocket-ped was enough hassle to speedrun the "stop caring about it" goal
Everyone was so focused on killing the Loot Goblin, that the traitors took advantage of the chaos to start killing people. As a result, there were significantly less people trying to kill the Loot Goblin.
Boba's perfect artillery strike warmed my heart.
"You don't need sensitivity for an artillery cannon!"
It warmed everyone's hearts, briefly.

@@PierceArner It did the hit marker on his final shot when he was on red, yet it didn't kill him, maybe awful connection? Or because Duncan was backing up with shotguns the spread was enough to not do the last bit of damage?

@@meaninglesscog To be fair… I think that was more Lewis' bad for not saying what he was doing. If Lewis had been any of the other roles who can res someone as a different role, that timing was perfectly clutch to prevent a really bad outcome.

It's funny, because when Achievement Hunter introduced it, it seemed like the most useless role since is so vulnerable against EVERYONE! But hey, I guess the trick is to use the loot.

Great episode! Very amused that Ped got goblin twice, so fitting. I still think the highlight for me was when Ravs turned the corner and shot Lewis trying to res the detective. That NO!!! was great.

The Mud Scientist could be a Jester role where they just throw mud balls at other players to temporarily blind them, and they're either invincible or win by being killed so you can't just wipe them out when they're discovered
There is a reason they don't have fire guns in their ttt anymore. The Jester is not meant to be a constant source of annoyance and giving them the ability to blind people would be extremely annoying.

the loot goblin adds a weird element of instant win because they give such powerful weapons but is annoying to actually catch while making old useless gear like a radar now very useful for traitors, I like the new element, this game just gets weirder and weirder and the madness is funny
The radar's never been useless, it's just less useful when the point of the lobby is to be entertaining so 'hide and seek' is less of an element, and the maps tend to be compact. It's still a good utility item if you don't need special weapons or don't want to use very obvious traitor items/weapons that will draw more suspicion.
@@jonathanwells223 they kinda do need to kill them though, the alternative is waiting for the round to end which the Yogs specifically maxed out the timer to avoid Sure if the traitor is camping they can pull a “You have to come to me” but that’s more code for “I’m not coming into your trap, do something else so we don’t have to cut this round”

At the end with the Reaper shotguns, Duncan died because he was backing up rather than shooting up close. It's how you live playing as Reaper in Overwatch.

The artillery canon, the RPS play (really Pedguin was playing 4D Chess there lol) and Penguin being the first loot goblin, and Ben making Duncan drop his mini gun, Ravs killing the paramedic and then regretting it.. So many hilarious and amazing plays this episode!! Keep it up!

Not to mention Pedguin and Boba were the only loot goblins this episode... Ravs' power play at dodging both Lewis' and Duncan's instant-kill shotguns... Ravs going up the ladder as Pedguin goes down, completely missing him. Lewis' "jammy" hottub dream... This episode has everything. It's great.

Loot goblins go around finding and keeping loot wherever they go. The 'Loot Goblin' role feels like it should be called 'Loot Piñata'.
It's so incredibly fitting that Ped and Boba were the first and only loot goblins this game.
This Loot Goblin role was destined for Pedguin, but still, I'd imagine it would be just as frustrating when Ravs gets it
The loot goblin is such a good addition but it's unfortunate that the detective is bugged because that makes the parasite just super OP.

It depends on how often it spawns and how often it’s Ped If it’s relatively uncommon and someone that doesn’t spend the whole round making intentionally annoying goblin noises it’s basically just a different Old Man

Loot goblin is basically a better Old Man, you still have to hide but other parties have reasons to search for and kill you, and you actually have some ways to survive.

I love seeing AchievementHunter and Yogscast just adopting each others TTT mods (by popular request by fans). They each play them so differently and it's absolutely hilarious. One of my favorite series by either channel.

If the Loot Goblin doesn't share the win with other factions, this would be the golden moment where both Traitors and Innocent working together on Goblin Hunting.
So, got an idea. With loot goblin, it basically goes along the roll of the old man. However, I have a way of differentiating it. We change the old man role. Basically, to push people away from killing the old man, you are affected by time as well. After 30 seconds of killing the old man, you also become an old man, essentially breaking you off from whatever role you were previously. So, while traitors want to kill the old man to secure the traitor win (Because I don't remember if the old man can kill anyone), they have to do so near the end of the match rather than starting off doing the easy kill. It's just an idea though.
The possum role should be spelt 'Opossum' because that is the species known for playing dead... possums are known for being cute and eating too much fruit

Loot goblin should be a randomat event that turns one player into a loot goblin and they only have 30(maybe 60) seconds to kill them or the loot goblin player wins the round(there aura would be revealed during this time)
