What exactly is going on at Team 17? Where is the Marauders update? Why doesn't anyone seem to know?

Team 17 has a long history in the gaming industry, and a great many devs have partnered with them throughout the years to get their games released, but a few things have been happening with them lately.
Debbie Bestwick is stepping down, the QA and Marketing Departments are being cut, and the video game industry as a whole is laying off a ton of people.

I went to the twitch con in vegas and met some team17 people and I sprayed fart spray on them behind their back and ran away but the security saw me and I got kicked out but it was worthit because I made them smell like sht.

they focused on hell let loose. my first impression at-least is that they just wasted 40 mil on hell let loose and ran it into the ground. Edit: yup
And left a beautiful game that could’ve been so much more to collect dust marauders had so much potential but was thrown away by poor management and content /attention to the game. Sad bruh I enjoyed it till a month after the red Barron and it died for me (and died all together)
Glad to see your back! Shame you had to come back with bad news. Though doesn't seem like Hell Let Loose is suffering from the same coporate hellscape that Marauders is though thats probably because they work directly for the company.
Hey Beans, glad to see you again! Yeah, I'd say you're right on the money with the Hell Let Loose ordeal. That whole ordeal with Update 14 and that trailer broke the back of HLL community for moment. I can't recall seeing backlash that bad before over an update and trailer. HLL is definitely one of T17's bread baskets if I had to guess. Marauders on the other hand is pretty low on the totem. It's just a shame all around.

Great video! Honestly, I think one of the reasons we've not recieved a statement from T17 regarding the delay and the reasons behind it is they are trying to not destabilize their stock price as it's finally on a significant rise again after a massive dip starting in mid-September. I'm not stock or investment expert, but bad news tends to not help stock prices.

i appreciate this video alot as a content creator for marauders. i love this game, and its community, but hate seeing sig eat shit for something not thier fault. hopefully everything ends up okay for the devs at SIG . THANKS AGAIN for an informative video man

I haven't seen a single game that sold out to a publisher last long after. All the publisher wants is infinite growth and that always means money comes before quality.
Its not team 17 its because they are finising polishing there game
Game has an incredible aesthetic and great potential. But its already killed itself and the couple hundreds lunatics who've stuck around have gameplay gatekept out any new players at all. The chance it revives and becomes popular is remarkably low and thats sad.
