Honey, I just *KNEW* that we were about to see some beautifully handmade, intricate Japanese porcelain tile that the plaintiff procured during one of her many trips to Japan. 😂 I have traveled a lot, and I have many things in my home from different counties…but I actually purchased them IN the countries that they are from. I’m sure a lot of us can find something in our homes that was *Made In Japan.* 🤣
Right? Her old tiles were manufactured in Japan. A lot different than handmade in Japan. And I highly doubt even that, because she had a bright white, newer-looking tile and the old tiles in her bathroom looked dingy.....and none were missing.
For a good caulk, use painters tape. Put it on the both surfaces around the corner you are calking. Then run a bead of caulk over it. It doesn't have to be nice and neat. Then run your finger down it to flatten. Then pull the tape off and you'll have a perfect professional job. Make sure to remove the tape while it's still wet, not dry or you will have a mess.

Funny caulk story. My brother had just put his boat into a marina and was installing a windlass (an electric winch on the front of the boat that raises the anchor) His slip neighbor showed up for a weekend on his boat, introduced himself, and asked if he'd like help with anything. My brother had left the tube of sealant on the dock below him and said "yea, would you grab my caulk?" He probably pronounced it "cock".
