Mark Jackson Details The Tough Job of An NBA Head Coach as the former Golden State Warriors Head Coach enters Gil's Arena and tells Gilbert Arenas about his desire to coach again and breaks down the problems plaguing current NBA Head Coaches. He also gives advice to aspiring players turning to coaching like JJ Redick and looks back on his time building the Warriors Dynasty, explaining how he coached Steph Curry to be an all time great.

  • When they won their title and Mark Jackson was on Stage, the team was celebrating, but Steph held back and looked at Mark Jackson. I felt bad for both of them. Then the team motioned for Mark to join them, but Mark decided not to. That's how special Mark Jackson was to this team.

    • CAP He was not running good offense. He was doing David Lee post ups and Harrison Barnes isos. Kerr is the one that came in and changed their offense completely. Mark was the reason their defense was elite.

He only has this opinion because he doesn't have a job in the NBA. He should have simply said: "I think you'd make a great college coach." But to imply he'd be better in college is a slight to his ability to coach in the NBA.

  • Mark Jackson is a class act, and a man’s man. Whether he got a fair shake or not, you’ll never hear him bad mouth anybody, or make excuses for himself. He never compromised his integrity, and I believe he’ll get another shot, it just makes too much sense.
