  • Bachata was strictly done by Artists from Dominican Republic, and only in Spanish. Aventura were the first Dominican-Americans to do it, and to introduce "Spanglish" to Bachata. They have opened ALOT of doors and everything they or Romeo comes out with is straight 🔥 hits! Highly respected. So I'm very proud to see him on the Breakfast Club. Salute! 👏🏼👏🏼❤💙✊🏽🇩🇴

  • Disappointed to see how non prepared the Breakfast Club was to receive and interview Romeo Santos. He is a Great in the Latin Music Community and you can see how the questions were making him feel uncomfortable. Charlemagne’s ignorance of Latin Music was very apparent in this Interview.

    • Bianca Paulino it was interesting to see how Romeo handled them, especially Charlemagne. Even though they were unprepared, they got some interesting stuff out of him. He handled this interview well. He knew when to be quiet, especially with that Haitian question. He knew to zip it and say he never heard that ever in his life lol.

  • Romeo Santos came prepared for an album interview; not for Dominican Republics problems or for his private life. Charlemagne was only looking for chisme (gossip), the guy doesn’t realize the legend he has, by asking him stupid ass questions that has nothing to do with Romeo Santos. While, he was asking unnecessary questions to get Romeos name dirty, Romeo knew how to avoid the dumb ass questions. Mucho love Romeo 😘

  • I feel like Angela should have led this interview, she had more wholesome questions and it looks like she actually did her research on Romeo Santos. Charlamagne was funny but was out here asking these ignorant ass questions. I feel like if he knew more solid information about the history of Hispaniola, Haiti, and DR he could have phrased his questions better. (It would have also helped if he actually knew the difference between race, nationality, and ethnicity. He is talking to Romeo as if he doesn't have any African heritage). I also think the answer Romeo gave concerning Dark skinned Latinas representation in music videos was wack. I wish Angela would have asked him which music videos he was referring to because I don't remember any of his music videos where I saw Afro-Latinas in the video and definitely not as the lead woman. I wonder if Romeo ever had the thought of doing a Bachata single with Beyonce, that would have been a great question while they were on the topic of Jay-Z.

  • This isn't the first time Charlamagne has been ignorant towards Caribbean Cultures and he doesnt do the research for a latin artist. I'm very proud that Romeo was interviewed, he is a great artist and loved how he didn't disrespect Charlamagne when he was saying ridiculous comments but did let him know they were wrong.
