  • The dust looks like it was deliberately put into the amplifier, because the dust clearly comes from sawdust. This is just a suggestion, hopefully it can be improved in the future.

    • they make their own boxes for speakers obviously they stored this near the saw that cuts their boards so i guess you could say it was put in there deliberately mainly due to the place they stored it before they did the restoration

    • меня больше интересует было-ли напряжение в розетки, когда он power-con втыкал в усилок ,или просто для понта- т.к. волшебный белый дым из уся не пошел...

    • @@ChillToMusic87 there are a whole different levels of “working”. In your own favorites is a video about recapping a Pioneer amplifier. With amps of this age and with the heavy usage they had you always do some other checks like testing caps etc. In Mr Elec vids I only see him checking caps for shorts. No capacity or ESR check. You don’t see him do any adjustments. Checking ripple on power lines, checking for DC offset on the output, checking for oscillation. He just replaces transistors, I believe I once some him match it. All these things are part of the repair proces. There can be so much wrong.   • good one, only thing i will suggest, and i do this to all my clients is its their choice weather i do a full set of transistors that is gain matched. when just a few of them are blown up. if its matched then i guarantee my work if not, its a cheap repair and i do not

  • One thing, radiator should be free from any paint or oxidation,only clean silvery surface can transfer a heat properly, just advice.

  • I love: -4 totally random volume knobs. -fake dust appears to be sawdust -random measurments -removing parts wich can be measured in circuit As always total BS 😂

    • According to the specifications sheet, The EM-4202 from App (Kobble), outputs 4x 2000W/8ohm, 4x 3000W/4ohm, 2x 6000W/8ohm, 2x 6000W/8ohm bridge

  • With out a scope and no testing of bias, this is not a proper restoration. Just playing music that flashes lights and could be dubbed in editing is lame. Mend it Mark is the real deal. This is bogus.

  • 29:11 просто показания питания двуполярного. К плптам с транзисторами отношения не имеют. Тут ремонтируешь более простые штуки и то, лезешь туда с осциллографами, тон генераторами, LC метрами. Ну, может у него так глаз и рука набита, что поломку влёт определяет.
