We decided we wanted to do something different this year, and getting back to work has been slow as both Drew and I learn to balance being twin parents and recording etc. So we hired our good friend SARE to do a bunch of remixes of stuff (like he did with Hide & Seek & Renai Circulation) and so RE: Hearts Intertwined was born! Every song is a little different, cuz EDM has so many different subgenres so there is a little bit of everything for everyone!
I've got a few projects in the works but I'm not going to mention timeframes and deadlines because it's too much to commit to them right now, just know that new things are coming!

Hello Lizz! Hope parenthood is going well and your little one is growing well! This is a fantastic song, and while I haven't had much interest in Kingdom Hearts as games past 2, I always appreciate your wonderful singing. Huge shoutour to SARE as well for those remixes; two powerhouses working as one monstrously talented symphony! As a side note, is there ever a plan for Terra's Theme (Final Fantasy VI)? I would love to watch people wonder why you released the same song twice until they notice the game names. Yes, I am a little mischievous.
I've actually never played Final Fantasy VI though its one of those things that's on my list of things to do... but finding time to things like playing JRPGs is super difficult haha! One day I might do some Final Fantasy lyric themes or something, but idk!
@@LizzRobinett Final Fantasy VI is, to this day, my favorite Final Fantasy, and also still one of the best video games I've ever played. It's what inspired my interest in good stories, good characters, good gameplay, and good music. I always recommend it. I will not say it's the best Final Fantasy, because that's an entirely subjective point...I at least have enough self-awareness to know that my opinion is not reality, unlike some of the VI vs VII fandumb wars.

Amazing as always, both of you! I find it rather interesting how both Terra and Riku (both names meaning "earth") were the ones to fall to darkness before redeeming themselves. Actually, all three of them (Terra, Aqua, Ventus) kind of mirror Riku, Kairi, and Sora. Well, I guess that's not really news to most people. Still, the fact that both are able to cling on and fight back against Xehanort's possession does align with their names. Earth is typically seen as strong, sturdy, and steadfast. There's a reason people say "keep your feet on the ground" in reference to setting realistic goals and having realistic expectations. Riku and Terra are both strong, physically and mentally, and they are both sort of "protectors" to their friends (or they try to be at least). Meanwhile, Ventus and Sora both share more idealistic outlooks, aiming for the sky, which is in both their names. Clouds in the sky cannot be held down, they are light and buoyant, but unfortunately can't always help in which direction they go due to the wind. Much like how Sora and Ventus are somewhat pulled along by the events of the series, not really given a choice as to which direction they go in. Both are more reactive, as opposed to active (like Terra and Riku). Aqua and Kairi are, like water, probably the most adaptive to their circumstances and care deeply about their friends and want to help them. Water tends to be seen as fluid (literally lol), ever-changing, capable of being both calm or raging (like the sea). Water in general has positive connotations and is viewed as pure, clean, soothing, even healing.
Gotta say terra is probably one of my favorite characters
