TBH, I think logically, things make sense if you properly assess everything. More than logic, I feel like the story was rushed due to time constraints. 1: how did Eun Sung get inside the hospital: bribing, money, probs knows some people. Remember, he was a previous Wall Street analyst who has REALLY good connections - maybe even politicians. The fact that he was able to bring down Queen’s group says a lot about his skills - the people around him. Also, he’s got connections with the ‘black market’ or underground people - whatever you call them, who will do anything for money. Given the fact that Haein just had really risky surgery and her ex husband was arrested as a suspect of murder - no doubt the fact that he is Korean and she will need someone to help her translate/take care of her, is a plus for the hospital. 2: Given Eun Sung and his mum’s personality, I think the story would have either had Hyunwoo arrested (as they were already trying to do that until Haein ratted them out) or murdered. Eun Sung wanted Haein and the only way was to have Hyunwoo out of the picture. So the fact that he was arrested, does fit the story line. 3: How does Eun sung know where they were - Remember, throughout the storyline, he’s known to be a STALKER. And an obsessive one at that, ever since their uni days, so given his power, money and obsession, I’m surprised that he didn’t find out about Haein’s cancer earlier in the story and only found out when Hyunwoo’s PA told him about the meds (after he found them). Only thing I would have liked was: 1: rushed their time in Germany in ep 14 - I feel like they ended up spending too much time around it and it wasn’t as rushed as I wanted to feel. Like Haein is dying and they were just strolling around? I understand that Hyunwoo was trying to convince her but the time it took (in drama minutes, not days in the actual drama), they spent too long and dragged that part out. 2: Actually showed more work that Eunsung does to stay with Haein - aka, talking to information brokers, stalking her digital footprint, etc - as much as I dislike him too, I think he actually needed more screen time where he wasn’t with Haein but actually planning things around her. 3: Spent more time showing Hyunwoo’s research in trying to find a cure. It was kind of sprung up on us and that 2 min scene where Haein’s dad mentioned it, i feel like could have been scattered around a little more in the previous episodes, like Haein walking in on him looking at his phone and he hides it because he doesn’t want her to see how hard he is working on it. 4: inserted something more around Haein’s uncle - I’m pretty sure he is helping them as she is buying up stocks in the US (as per that one scene), but they could have actually shown some stuff - even if it was him pretending like he wasn’t helping them. Though I’m sure he will pop up in the last 2 eps. The focus of the story going from dying/finding a cure - then forgetting the whole thing and moving onto the grandpa’s hidden funds - now suddenly back to, oh right, Haein is dying again, I think the pieces of the drama should have been cut and placed differently to show both moving at the same time. Furthermore, ngl, i feel like Eunsung’s mum should have a little more background. Like, why is she targeting the Queen group specifically (unless i missed something) - like it was pretty random to just be like, i was to take this whole family down. Given the fact that the gramps adored her, she could have easily lived a comfortable life as was, and helped EunSung get a high placing role there - maybe not as his mum but just through connections as they wouldn’t have liked the hidden son.
Which is the last part?
I just don't want a hasty ending. This drama has been all perfect from the beginning. I am afraid as there's just 2 episodes left. They can extend it a bit and manage the pace it's being continued.
The fact that the evil mother and son is still in control and we are in the last 2 ep means that everything will be rushed and at this point there are just too many plot holes to fill with not enough time. Like haein exposing eunsung in front of everyone including the media and she has evidence to back up her claims wouldn’t that at least amount to some charges and jail time esp given hyunwoo is a lawyer

The easiest way to destroy eun sung, and his mother is by hiring Vincenzo. It would be so easy for him to get hyun woo out of Prison, he’s the most feared consigliere and lawyer in South Korea. He’ll definitely get rid eun sung hahah. It would be amazing if he showed up on the next episode 😂😂

This series has had so many twists and turns and that the villian showed up once again was maddening. I was yelling at the TV screen! Though I've loved watching I do agree with some comments on how thing sometimes magically happened without explaination. I am just hoping she regains some if not all her memories and there is a happy ending!!

If they show Vincenzo killing Eunsung and his mom being made to watch the body, I think 5 minutes towards the end of ep 15 would be enough. Then ep 16 shows Hae in who has lost all memory reading her diary, realising who Hyundai woo is and boldly chasing after him like how she did when they first started dating.😂

The docs and nurses in that hospital would have seen who was there for her the entire time. Hyun woo slept in her hospital bed with her prior to surgery. The staff would have seen them happily entwined in each other’s arms. No way would they have allowed another man claiming to be her partner to take her.

Maybe he told the hospital staff that her husband was arrested for murder and her immediate family is in S. Korea, unable to travel. He could have persuaded them that he is close to her amd needs to be with her since no one else can. I suspect his mother helped him "plant" evidence in the murder scene so that Kim So Hyun is accused.
But i really like that scene when he was and she was crying in the church and he told thinking of u praying to die is driving me crazy don't ask for that just live. And another where he was really really going craze when he felt that haein was in that car crash and whe he saw her he felt relived, and cried in her arms
The screen writer of this drama is a genius, they be adding all the og kdrama clichés and they are all so perfectly timed to get us hooked every week, ep14 was a crying fest throughout the whole episode
I think I will agree with you but the suspense the writer created is unbearable with the fact that Hong hae in will no longer remember her past after the surgery but thank God she said the only thing she can remember is Baek hyun woo and the evil stalker has said he is not baek hyun woo which gives the hope he will not have his way

So frustrating but kudos to Eunsung 😂 he's consistent obsession, made him always ready for a opportunity and to takes it. Hyunwoo should've had some eye on him (I get his priority was Haein getting surgery) especially after hearing the broker died, he should have had people on his tail, he knows he's schemes especially when it comes to Haein.
Seeing Eun Sung gets me upset! I just hope this drama is worth my time because i don't understand this anymore.
So Hyun-woo made a video for her to help remember things, not sure if that replaces the burned notebook. But Argh!!! On this storyline, Sung even had his hand bandaged just in case. Someone somehow needs to standup and fight for them. Could that be the daughter in law with the USB drive that saves the day and makes the family proud of her?

I thought the same with the bandaged, but he did break an awful lot of plates and glasses in the episodes last week, and that's what the bandage is off.
I still don’t understand why they didn’t make a video of Hae-in saying all the things she wanted to remind herself after the surgery. It’s easier to believe the video when you see yourself saying all the words.

How episode 15 should progress: Eunsung tries to manipulate Hae in, she falls for it. Hyun Woo is still in jail. Hae in comes across the old news video on the internet where she mentions Hyun Woo to be her husband, she realises she's being tricked by Eunsung, starts acting out and locks herself in, refusing to eat if she doesn't meet with Hyun Woo. After a few days of trying, Eunsung finally agrees and goes to see Hyun Woo. Hyun Woo has already been released on bail, his lawyers (or Vincenzo) helped him. Eunsung tries to find out where Hyun Woo ran off to. He receives a clue to Hyun Woos whereabouts, goes to search for him and gets trapped by Hyun Woo. Cue boxing ring scene (Hyun Woo agrees to meet Hae in if Eunsung can beat him in the boxing ring). Hyun Woo beats the crap out of Eunsung, then refuses to meet Hae in and tells Eunsung that he can try again the next day (what else can Eunsung do? He's held prisoner by Hyun Woo). So, each day Hyun Woo beats the shit out of Eunsung. This goes on for about a month. Everyday, Eunsung gets up, eats dog food and water, gets beat up by Hyun Woo, gets painkillers, goes to sleep. Hyun Woo has also been injecting Eunsung with drugs, so Eunsung isn't in the best state of mind. After a month, Eunsung is released. He runs back to find Hae in has escaped from the house. He goes back to handle company affairs. He has started having panic attacks regularly now. ( Hyun Woo has someone hypnotize Eunsung and put 5 trigger words to torture Eunsung). 4 trigger words that cause him to have a panic attack.Eunsungs mom gets worried and asks him when the panic attacks started. He tells her about how he was kidnapped by Hyun Woo and the torture he went through. She goes to confront Hyun Woo, who shows her videos of him beating up her son, and tells her about the 5 triggers, the fifth word causing Eunsung to kill himself. She panicks and begs him to let her son go. Hyun Woo asks her to give up the money and puts another condition up. She reluctantly agrees. Next up, a video shows up in the news about Eunsungs mom kissing a random drunk guy at a bar, followed by her public announcement that she killed Hae in's grandfather. She apologizes for her misdeeds and agrees to turn herself in to the police. (As she is using the words written down by Hyun Woo), this triggers Eunsung who in a psychotic rage, kills the female housekeeper who has been playing both sides. When he comes to his senses, he sees the dead body and puts the body in the trunk of his car in order to dump the body in a landfill. The police receive a tip-off about this, so they chase him. Car chase ensues. Eunsung crashes into a tree, plot armour, he has minor bruise and escapes from the car on foot. White truck hits him at full speed. 😂 The police find the dead housekeeper in the trunk of his car, Eunsung will get arrested, that is, if he wakes up from the coma. He has multiple broken bones, crushed spine,and a punctured lung, multiple broken ribs. He wakes up from the coma, finds out he can't move from the neck down. Hyun Woo tells Eunsungs mom about the car crash and that Eunsung has been arrested. She begs him to release her so that she can meet up with her son. Hyun Woo keeps locked up for about a month, then releases her,telling her that Eunsung heard the fifth trigger word and gave up on life. He died a month ago in the hospital. She turns herself in to the police. She gets tortured by her cellmates everyday (Haeins mom and aunt both paid them). The Queen market share has dropped. Haein buys the shares at a reduced price (Eunsungs mom has handed over the hidden money to Haein before she went to the police). Hyun Woo goes to meet Haein. Cue episode 16 happy ending for the couple.

Its funny how korean dramas changes through out the years since i started watching it.before korean dramas always stays to where and how the drama will end its either happy ending or,either of the main lead will die or not it always stick to what was the story is until the last remaining episodes....Todays new generation of the drama it always depend on how the viewers want to end thats why most of time the few of the last remaining last episodes of new generations dramas specially those are expensive production wise and high rating wise always makes a U-turn before the drama ends to where and how the viewers wanted to end......thats why i really miss those a little longer episodes of korean dramas and most all dramas that does t have to make a U-turn thats changes the how the story should flow to its original state.

whatever as for me this made me cry a lot .i don't care about those negative reviews becoz for me it's one of my fave Korean novel.. and i do love the characters of Hyu Woon and Hae in.. they are a perfect match.. hope also in real life😊
This is a bit delulu, but I'm just sharing my opinion abt things which could be better 1 What if after hae in woke up,she only remembered hyun woo like everything about him and the conversation she had with eunsung in youngduri in the hospital abt him throwing her in a pit to get her out of it,this way no matter how had eunsung tried,she would know he was the bad guy. 2 After some research,I found that if a kid dies before being born,the brain of the kid is mixed in with the memories of the mother so what if she remembered the kid as well and hyunwoo,this way she would know eunsung is wrong cuz hyunwoo Is obviously the father 3 If the remembered her grandfather,she would remember the voice note and seul hee.hence,eunsung or even just the day she went to visit her grandfather 4(more of a theory) What if she finds the notebook she gave to hyunwoo and reads it and hyunwoo might have left a little note at the end.cuz in the preview,eunsung is burning the notebook.he wouldn't have known where it was otherwise. Thats it.i just hope eunsung gets what he deserves and having and hyun woo get to live happily for a long time.i also hope hyunwoo gives us a but of the luck he bought in Germany for a season 2.

The actors are very good at their job. The chemistry between lead actors were beautiful. And I like the heart wrenching moments that made me cry. But the plot is really underwhelming. The writers and director could’ve done things differently. They focus too much on the fact that Hae-In’s dying but forget about all the other details of surrounding characters. I get they try to make the audience feel the sadness of the story but it was just too much of that. They could’ve expanded on the villains’ background stories more so that it makes sense. Why did Eun Sung and Ms. Moh do that to the Hong’s family? The grandpa treated them well and they backstabbed him like that. Oh well, it’s a drama. Can’t expect them to be logical
Looks like next episode Hyun woo will get released Haein will search deeper to why she has her heart racing around Hyun woo Eungsung will get a taste of his own medicine and face charges

@@Baekdukitty we will see in the next episode, they would put it into a plastic bag and give it to him after he’ll be released. They would not give it to some other guy just because criminals aren’t supposed to take anything with them.. Even if he dropped it, they would’ve taken it with them
@@fuwa07 I think the preview for e15 shows Eunsung burning it. It’s probable that he dropped it in the struggle with police and it slid under a chair and then it was found and no one knew who it belonged to so they opened it and saw her name and gave it to Eunsung since for some weird reason they suddenly treat him as her guardian
The problem is that being a great drama, competing to be the #1 in the National and international rating…. This last 2 episodes will be so rushed for a happy (or not) ending…. And that will bring down this drama….. because we are NOT happy with this…….. still CLOY will be my #1 of all Korean dramas!

I think we will have a somewhat open happy ending, I don't think she will remember these types of things, it doesn't work that way, she won't remember everything at once with the power of love that doesn't exist, that's why I think there will be a passage of time and he meets again on the bridge in Germany, she doesn't remember but finds the padlock with their name on it and the two meet because it's destiny and etc.
When I saw the preview I thought of the cdrama "forget you, remember love". But yea, could be an open ending.

@@Baekdukitty It does have to make sense, this isn't a fantasy drama, I know people want the couple together but she lost her memory completely, I think it's too surreal that she magically recovers it, I think the drama would have failed in this regard if this had been addressed a few episodes ago it could have been better developed, it was rushed.

As much as it hurt in that scene, I do think it was called for. Remember, he was just arrested for suspected murder, which means that he is capable of killing. Also, he was getting aggressive with the cops by trying to run over to Haein. Though I wish he would have actually tried to reason with them a little more - using English as maybe German cops would have been a little more nicer, given how his wife was just out of surgery. But that wouldn’t really hold (maybe), given the fact they are divorced so they no longer legally binding in marital sense - he could as well be a stranger for all they know. Maybe he could have mentioned some stuff - retained a lawyer ASAP and see what that will get him - but given the fact he’s wanted through interpol (i think), is a high risk criminal/overseas criminal, they would have had to been more strict.

Why is there bandage on Eunsung's hand? Is he trying to imitate Hyun Woo?
If she got brain surgery why her hair still there not even bandages, what type of surgery they did, is that possible. No even bandages. I know is just drama, but I'm looking the realistic part in this drama.

The only thing that i find it weird is the time when the female thats was said in her press conference from being as a vocal point of turn around against the villain to a unnecessary scene the drama honestly speaking.
In an interview sung hoon said that eun sung real emotions and most of the twists will unfold in ep 15-16 and they will see, how the entire drana takes place. There are 2 more episodes so its difficult to say that haein will get her memory so soon in the next episode itself and hyun woo will be so easily out of the jail.... Its difficult to understand. Also, loved ep 13-14 13 with so many happy memories and filling haein empty candy jar and 14 filled with pure love and sticking to it no matter what happens.
It unknown how many days it is in one episode they could have fast forward it like 2 weeks later or 3 months later
You guys r absolutely right...Apart from a few moments, everything else was nonsense...The remaining two episodes will end in confusion....It seems the author liked Eun-sung more....Now the rating will go down..
If you understand the Plot and the main topic, you will know why its written that way, in my opinion i think this ep story line was fitting to the story, since it add excitement to the upcoming episode, i think the writer would have wanted it to be this way so the viewers will keep on watching till the end (my opinion, disagree if you want)

Show has been good but the last 2 episodes is some of the worse writing I’ve ever seen. Who wouldn’t resolve the divorce papers before the operation? Sure at the time she didn’t know she’d lose her memory but there is also the risk of death. Why bother showing she’s writing a diary if it’s she going to be burn and play no role in the story?
Seeing how it showed Hyunwoo holding the note book while he got arrested, I’m guessing he must have read it. With his constant boast in memory (as mentioned in the epilogue), i feel like he’ll re-write the book for her or slowly quote the book to her to help trigger her memories
May be that book was hyoonwo album of sweet memories he shared with haein

As much as I love this drama I have to fast forward up to the preview for next week.too many twist and turns that it is getting too much and boring.the hospital scene is very unrealistic.I work in a hospital here in UK and we abide the rule of confidentiality..don’t just let a random guy to be the patient’s guardian or we call it Next Of Kin, it has to be an immediate family member or a person nominated by the patient or someone with a Lasting Power of Attorney this is to be in the patient’s file during admission. She is going to have a major surgery,she should have at least one member of her family to go with them….such a lame writing that some of the scenes doesn’t make any sense…so disappointed to this episode…just saying…

Eun sung probably forged the papers or bribed the hospital, most likely he forged the papers saying he is also a relative of Hae-in which allows him to be with Hae-in after hyun woo was arrested
The same happens in Italy. Furthermore, the first to legally pay the price would be the health officials who allowed this psychopath to get close to the protagonist. I really don't think that all of this can happen in a German hospital; especially with an unknown emeritus who shows up out of nowhere.

Its funny how korean dramas changes through out the years since i started watching it.before korean dramas always stays to where and how the drama will end its either happy ending or,either of the main lead will die or not it always stick to what was the story is until the last remaining episodes....Todays new generation of the drama it always depend on how the viewers want to end thats why most of time the few of the last remaining last episodes of new generations dramas specially those are expensive production wise and high rating wise always makes a U-turn before the drama ends to where and how the viewers wanted to end......thats why i really miss those a little longer episodes of korean dramas and most all dramas that does t have to make a U-turn thats changes the how the story should flow to its original state.
