Marth - Pacifist Caeda - Pegasus Knight Alm + Celica - Childhood friends that developed a strong bond Sigurd- Starts on a horse Seliph - Part of his character development is trying to be his own man, not in his father's shadow Leif - Dealt with adversity all his life Roy - Has been considered to be one of the weakest lords in the series Lyn - Fast and afterimages Eliwood - Lost 2 people close to him, it screwed with his psyche a lot Hector - First axe lord Eirika and Ephraim - Siblings Ike - Gets really buff in RD Micaiah - Yune can talk through her to other party members Elincia - too willing to give things up Chrom, Robin, and Lucina - Chrom and Female Robin can marry, with Lucina being their daughter Corrin - Here be dragons Byleth - It shows him with 3 things indoors, a reference to the 3 houses Edelgard - in CF she takes you from Rhea, and in Rhea doesn't take that well Dimitri - When he learns who the Flame Emperor is, he snaps Claude - He's a bit of a prankster
You got it all right except for Byleth. It's more that Byleth doesn't talk very much. But I appreciate that layer of thought

Haven't played Gaiden/Echoes but I heard because of their conflicting ideologies (Alm wanted to go to war, Celica wanted peace), they were unable to properly re-establish their friendship at their reunion. Hence, the "but we're suppose to be friends forever" quote

All Three Houses Lords are pretty bizarre when explained by Spongebob.
@@sarasaland4709 Part of the issue is that they're all hiding things from the viewer, something most of the others never even attempt to do.
2:16 to be fair, if I saw my birth mother, who I just reunited with after several years, die in my arms after sacrificing herself to protect me in a terrorist attack orchestrated by the man I assumed to be my father, who also used me as a pawn for said attack, I would also lose control of my newfound demigod powers and go an a complete rampage.

Makes me glad to see that Elincia is being treated as a lord. :) Tho her part in this vid kinda doesn’t take into account when she bravely threw herself onto the frontlines to stop Gallia/Begnion from fighting on her land, damn that’s one of my favorite fire emblem scenes of all time.

Lyn begins to miss Mark egging her on during the mid-game timeskip. It's just not the same without him. This specific one was their reunion. Nothing in a 1-mile radius survived their combined Kay-Rah-Tay.

In all honesty I came for the short circuiting Dimitri. 10/10 was not disappointed.
I think the Alm/Celica clip shows exactly why I didn't like their relationship dynamic. To me, it felt like the Dimitri and Edelgard history was a great subversion of Alm and Celica.

Leigh Needleman Sorry I mean what was your with problem with the Alm/Celica relationship I’m aware it wasn’t perfect but I didn’t have a much problem with it. Also don’t really have an opinion on the Dimitri/Edelgard dynamic cause admittedly I haven’t played Three Houses yet I own it just haven’t gotten to it, I didn’t even get the Byleth joke in this.
@@Santoryu90 No worries I won't spoil 3H then. But that also means I can't make the comparison unfortunately. If you play 3H, enjoy! My problem with Alm/Celica is that their relationship felt too forced. They knew each other for maybe a few weeks at best as kids, but somehow are still in love a decade later. They both only think about each other when separated despite being maybe 8 when they knew each other. And yet they're somehow in love despite being apart since then. It was a childhood crush yet the game makes it more. It feels like they're only a couple cuz story mandated such. Not because they organically grew into such. I thought their fight and "break-up" felt realistic in chapter 3 cuz they're different people who want different things. But they are written to always just love each other and do everything with each other in mind. It's very strangled by the red string, as TV tropes would call it. Forced relationship by the plot and not grown organically. Just in my opinion
