  • TI8 OG vs PSG - game 3 of the upper group finals and game 4 of the finals are the absolute best DOTA games ever. A lot of matches and moments were memorable and from another planet, but OG played dota from another galaxy.

    • U r smoking....there are way better games...even if u have seen on recent big stage of riyadh masters ..better games are there..spirit gave us an exhilarating grand finals.wings gaming whole year was treat..ti 7 liquid was fire..even the game between thunder and liquid was so much fun..nowadays games are way more calculated and exhilarating imo...og stuck to few formulas and went batshit with it..they were masters of draft manipulation...and cheese strats..not fun at all....like liquid is winning and all the sudden io gets sceptre and game is over ..what the fuck was that..i get it og has lots of fan but i never enjoyed their gameplay....

    • I agree. The only way to acknowledge how good those games were is to actually realize how many signature plays there were. So many micro plays from every player. Whether it's Ana's clutch ember with the unconventional build, or how n0tail made implicitly made space for everyone, how Topson sacrificed his greedy roles for the carry and ofc Ceb's plays. Truly a masterpiece

  • I've been playing Dota since I was in elementary, around 2011 (12 years old). I was lucky to be able to play Dota 1 and not Dota 2 right in the bat. Playing this game with friends in a computer shop is definitely something and a unique experience. It's not the best game but surely loved the game. Combining my two accounts' playtime, I already have 4.5k hours of playtime. I'm grateful for the run of this game. This is the only multiplayer game I know how to play. Thank you IceFrog + Valve for maintaining this game. More years to come! Cheers!

    • I can relate to the first part of your story. I started playing around 2007 or 2008. Life and dota was so fun back in those days. Tried playing dota 2 for a while after it came out but just couldn't keep up with it and got lost in the responsibilities of life. Although, still I never fail to watch all of the majors and TI.

  • No Tundra highlights? They dismantled every team they faced in TI11, beat Leshrac which was the most op and viable strat that TI, and the only other 3-0 sweep apart from Liquid at TI7.

    • Tundra games was just a complete stomp it was so boring to watch. Whereas Team Liquid at TI7 were actually going back and forth vs Newbee. Although yes its good for them (Tundra) to stomp their enemy, from a spectator and casual dota player like me, its more entertaining when a back and forth is happening.

    • Ti2 finals were really fun but ti4 and ti6 finals weren’t particularly fun. Newbee played a style focused on winning but not exactly showmanship, and wings just outclassed DC so hard there was nothing memorable about it

  • Love the video, seeing all the teams raising the Aegis...except for the TI2, 4, 6 and 11...Kinda, raises the question how come coincidently all the Chinese teams raising the Aegis was not worth adding. And Tundra. If it were just TI4, I would have understood, games were too fast, often a bit boring, but Newbee winning was a huge upset. Also the org since then is perma-banned, so I'd get not wanting to promote them.
