@No middle Ground 🙃 He saying that if the parents are around their kids more to guide them and to actually teach them about life. Then the kids will turn out better even if they do listen to Eminem at a young age. Eminem is my favorite rapper and I've been listening to him since I was a teen but because of my mom and dad being in my life and teaching me right from wrong, I knew how to listen to Em without being influence negatively by the things he says because my parents created a moral compass inside of me.

I've always respected Elton John for sticking up for eminem and being his friend when alot of people were trying to cancel him for being homophobic. Idk why but I love the fact that they're friends in real life and that eminem actually chose Elton John to be his sponsor when he got sober.
Me too. There's a reason that man was knighted! He's a good man. He's a musician, and understands artistry. He hears lyrics and interprets lyrics and understands a song has deeper meaning than the lyrics in it. I love that Elton did that and continues to do that for eminem. It really matters.
the reason em chose elton as his sponsor was because elton had been through it all too with addiction and in my experience, you can't relate to someone who hasn't had an addiction telling you what to do, to not do this drug yet have no idea about *it* and what *it* is like, nevermind have ever felt the drug. It'd be like skydiving for the first time ever but without an instructor who has done it 100's of times and knows if something were to go wrong, knows what to do to try correct it because of their experience. It's another reason why people end up relapsing too. An uneducated mind trying to help someone through a minefield without a minesweeper will lead to the person blowing up.

I have never thought Wayne would be on Eminem's level lyrically or cadence wise, but he has a huge influence on the Hiphop game and knows how to bring heavy bars. Back in the day, I use to say Em was the God of Rap and Wayne was the King of Rap. At that time, nobody could touch them. Wayne fell off when this new genre of mumble music came out. But he has some fire tracks in the 2000's.

I’ve watched dozens of Eminem’s interviews and it’s apparent that he has a sense of humor that most people don’t get. I grew up being a huge Eminem fan like most millennials and since my late 20s, have become a huge fan of stand up comedy. I typically like jokes that are more Controversial and push the limit. Growing up listening to his lyrics probably influenced that.

Can we all just agree that there will never be another Eminem? They broke the mold with him and I’m soooo happy that I was there from the very beginning. I remember the first time I ever heard Em was in 99 (I believe), I was 16 and I was going with a friend to a bigger city outside my city to buy a QP of some bud and my friend pops his cd in the deck and the rest was history… He’s been my favorite rapper since that day. I’ll never forget where and when I was the first time I heard Eminem.

What Jim Carrey means is Eminem's lyrics joking about school shooting, suicide, bullying, rape, and kids listening and going out and being menaces to society. The parents would blame it on Em and try to sue him instead of being better parents. He means that if those parents would just be better parents and not let their kids do what they wanted to do, and discipline and be in their lives more directly, then everything would be okay. It's not the artists fault that people can't raise their children right. The music isn't made for children. It isnt their fault to police their own craft just because some Jane from Beverly Street can't control their kids and discipline them correctly. Be a better parent, and maybe the child will listen and respect your teachings.

I also think as a parent you could teach your child to understand that art is used to express emotion, thoughts, dreams, nightmares, ideas as well as reveal the era's current events and moods.
