The Twenty-Second Pilot I know that they miss the smaller concerts because they like connecting with the fans more. All these big concerts don't really allow that to happen. But I doubt that they don't like having a growing fan base.

in the underground scene that's what crowds do. you move side to side, push up against people, crowd surf, there might be a mosh somewhere in the middle(not really for top though), etc. this was their crowd before all the blurryface fans came and made their shows no fun :P.
i became fans during the vessel era, and their show were not ruined by blurryface fans, they were just innocent
its pretty rad to see that most people in this crowd arent holding the phones up rather just enjoying the show and themselves
This was 4 years ago, before they went mainstream.. So I'm guessing every person there was really a fan of them and not just some teenage girls Freaking about them but only knowing two songs

Besides, if you go on Twitter, you'll see those fangirls (or fan boys) are so freaking dedicated to these guys and their music and know the lyrics damn well.

Also there are the girls that just listen to them just to be able to say that they are not into the "mainstream" stuff and THAT is sad as well
