  • Great video! I am so glad that you took the time to discuss the issues with the introduced Sitka deer on Haida Gwaii. I was wondering how much it cost to have a guide take you to these more remote areas to hunt? I know that going further away from main roads, logging roads, and local communities is really appreciated, as it is getting harder and harder for locals to hunt deer for their own food security, so these types of remote multi-day trips are really the way to go.

    • Hey thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the show! We did not do a guided hunt so I’m not sure what a guide would charge but the boat ride was a few hundred bucks. I would highly recommend giving it a try it’s worth the extra few days of backpacking to get into an area with no other hunting pressure!

  • This is on my list of hunts to do.....whats the catch with hunting on Haida Gwaii? Not able to watch the video with volume at the moment but figured I would pose the question before I forget. Cheers

  • That scope ? Wanting to know what the problem was.

    @wayneflett6816@wayneflett68162 жыл бұрын
    • Hey Wayne, I fell off a tree on my way up about a 10 ft fall crossing a creek and I must have hit the scope harder than I thought when I got back home it was nearly 2 ft off at 100 yards.
