A groundsman in Austria found a clever way to clear the snow ahead of WSG Swarovski Tirol's game against Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga: dragging a ladder across the surface of the pitch. High-flying WSG went on to win the game 3-1, with one of the goals coming from Kelvin Yeboah, nephew of former Leeds forward Tony Yeboah.

If it looks stupid but works then it ain't stupid.
Many inventions are the result of smart people being lazy
@@xooperz so they can keep lazy
What is it? Looks snow to me

Nah one of my mates has got a longer ladder than that. 😅

What!? U changed the comment
You must be born on a ladder.
The groundsman: Sometimes my genius is... it’s almost frightening
*C L A R K S O N !*
The groundsman needed a *ZESTY* drink after that
I can hear the words😂

This guy is more creative than the whole Arsenal midfield
That hurt man
@Kanda Balam he’s just joking
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Class
you didn't see lacazette's goal this weekend? set up by Ceballos, I guess this is just a copy paste job for likes, and it appears you're winning
just take a bloody joke, you don't have to get butthurt.
That's not a ladder, it's a sophisticated device designed specifically for snow removal, which happens to look like a ladder.
It might actually work as a ladder, too
@@santiagoibarra2385 he was messing🤣🤣🤣
@@SquidgySilver so was @Santiago Ibarra haha

I once saw one of these snow ploughs being used to climb onto a high vantage point. Bloody amazing.
I once used one of these snow plows for replacing a lightbulb. They really are useful!
A real life omni tool
Must be made in Switzerland
When Austrians are not rejected by art schools they can be pretty amazing
I got it. Oooooh naughty.
This one for my history students
Hahahahaha
I know, imagine not finishing the job off properly?
Amazing 👏🖤
it's just so satisfying to see the snow being removed foot by foot
You should watch hockey they do it a lot there lol
How many bananas is that?

now this deserves to be in one of those 5 minute life hacks
No it doesn't, this thing is way more useful than what 5 minutes guys show
No, this is actually useful😂
You do know that’s a troll account right
Working smart, not hard!
You have to work hard to be smart if you want to be professional in what you do. ! ! ! !
Everything has multiple uses, not for reaching high places, but for clearing snow to. Haha
I use a ladder as a cargo vessel shipping containers across vast oceans with zero addditional add ons or support personally. Each to their own.
I actually use mine as a stand for my steering wheel while playing gran turismo
Jackie Chan: agree
I guarantee that guy is already thinking about his after-work beer. Legend.
"Sometimes if you listen very careful you can hear my genius"
Wasn't that Clarkson who said that?
This is brilliant I’m gonna do this too someday. -Me, living in tropical country
So funny, next step is going to the circus!
Having lived all of this life so far in Florida, I too know the trials of living in a tropical nation.
If he ever needs to change a light bulb and can’t reach he simply stands on his snow plough 💡
Bloody hell the whole country would grind to a halt here in England with that amount of snow!
That's literally nothing haha
@@gery8218 yep, still would stop the country!
And the news would talk about it showing images from 'Day after tomorrow'
The Government will now create a Minister for Ladders
@@gery8218 Almost everybody in the UK, takes a picture of it posts it on Facebook, 'couldn't get to work today as it snowed'.
This guy deserves a raise
About a 2 meter raise
He’s going up in the world
Wait until they release the snakes !!!
With a ladder at his disposal that's quite literally true.
the price of ladder will go up during winter from now...
Helping his team climb the ladder this season, sweeping away all opposition.
He's climbing the ladder to success.
Legend is he also uses it to rake leaves in autumn
when your club is too cheap to buy dragmats 😂😂😂
Only real gardeners know what you are talking about 👊
The first club in England to have undresoil heating was Arsenal at that great stadium Highbury.
Dumb biscuit without improvisation skills...dont be jealous
Or when your club would rather buy a ladder coz it does more than 1 job its cheaper, it caught your attention.. cheap advertising.. by going against the norms of society..
the real man of the match, without him there is no the match 😅
give this man a freaking raise.
Finally found the "I survived alone with nothing but a matchstick, a M&M packet and playing cards, after i was lost in the amazon rainforest" guy
This should be *Standard Operation Procedure* for everyone who doing this job...
And work harder?
It is standard groundsman practice. We don't use ladders though
He's doing it rung!
Thanks
You can hardly describe the pitch as ‘covered in snow’, if there’s only enough snow to cover one leg of a relatively short ladder.
But you even just said that the snow covered the pitch 🤣
There's always one dude..
@@zerb9461 It's okay he edited his comment 🤣
Just have to ruin our fun don’t you.
@@JB-sh9nf The edit was to put inverted commas around ‘covered in snow’. It was only an observation, and a light-hearted one. As you will know, any snow, no matter how little, has to be cleared if it obscures the view of pitch markings. It’s a great video, and an innovative idea to use the ladder to get a job done. Glad it got us all talking.
The visual definition of "work smarter, not harder":
It looked like the ladder was hovering at first, I thought that was the trick! 🤦♂️🤣
thats next lvl stupid
Excellent. Well done sir.
May someone place the Cyberpunk soundtrack with this video. It would be magical ✨
He unlocked 100% of his brain.

Snow problem? 'S no problem!
Now this is innovative
I’d applaud the groundskeeper’s ingenuity, but then again, he’s outdoors and wearing a mask.
Legend says he's still dragging the ladder around the field to this day!
He is taking steps to make sure the pitch is clear
Complete ingenuity! Work smarter not harder.
Give that man a medal
That dude deserve a raise...

Today we salute this real man of genius. No expensive piece of machinery, gettin it done with some rope and a ladder. He needs a raise for sure,
