Our miniature dachshund Mac's evening routine in the summertime includes long walks, rolling around in the grass and treats for dessert :)
Mac is a miniature sausage dog (doxie, teckel, dackel) who lives in Montreal. Follow his adventures here!

    • I lost my dog two years ago and seeing this one makes me think of him and smile or laugh. Makes me think I should go to the shelter and try to find another one to take of me.

  • Oh, do they cuddle! My longhaired is a standard but only about 17 lbs. He doubles as my heating pad spooned up against my back. He never wakes me up when he gets too warm and goes on top of the covers but my insomnia drives him nuts. He needs his beauty sleep. He was dumped as a pup and found my door. Angels led him to me because I needed rescuing. My only child was about to die. Having my dear friend to care for kept me from following my son. Smart, funny and he can pick a creep out of a crowd in a heartbeat. His instincts and intelligence leave me in awe.
