If you put the jelly next to the bread on that "Uncrustable," it will be soggy. But if you put peanut butter on both pieces of bread, and then jelly in the middle, it saves you the soggy bread on the jelly side.

And I'm pretty sure that maker can be used in one step by placing the sandwich on top of the cutter and using the sealing side to cut the crust off.
If you store your markers tip side down, they will last a lot longer. My art teacher taught us this years ago!!!

I use the crusts to make my own bread crumbs (bc their so expensive store-bought for what you get) can also use them to make your own croutons lol the process for both are roughly the same lol

Regarding using a damp paper towel under your cutting board...... Instead of wasting expensive paper towel each time, buy a roll of that rubbery drawer liner that you can find at home Depot or Target (not sure if Dollar Tree has?). Cut off a rectangle or whatever size you need. While the initial role might be about $6, you can certainly use it for lots of other things including lining your drawers. I cut off a 5 x 5 square and use it to open hard to open jars.
Or just a kitchen towel will work
I use the rubber drawer liner for exactly these things! I also put a rectangle of it on my lap desk for when I use it for meals.
I have one of those 'reusable' paper towels that I use, like a jaycloth. It's great, lasts a long time, and you can wash it / bleach it a few times. Works great under the cutting board

A damp dishcloth will do the same thing & you can use it to wipe over the bench when finished.
The reason the ice cube or washcloth didn’t work for removing wrinkles is because that is all you put in the dryer. The success comes from the water from the ice cube/washcloth turning to steam COMBINED WITH the tumbling action. If you don’t have enough volume in the dryer, that shirt will only slide around the perimeter of the dryer. I usually use a full size towel and wet half of it. The full size towel allows the shirt to fully tumble. 😊
I told her to put two or three shirts in at a time. That keeps them "tumbling."
Hey, Liz! My wife watches your videos MANY, MANY times. One 'hack' that she recommended for me to share is what I learned when I was at my last job as a non-emergency medical transportation driver. Some of the larger water bottles have flip tops. These lids WILL fit 20oz soda/lemonade bottles, IF you remove the safety tamper-ring. Then, you can drink NON-CARBONATED drinks. This is NOT water tight. I would drink water, and I do sometimes use non-carbonated caffeine drinks that I would prepare the night before. This is VERY helpful when driving because you can drink and not need to use both hands to open the bottle, which you can do easily enough at a stoplight, but not so easily on the freeway doing 65 or more.
Only thing is that you're not supposed to re-fill water bottles! Atleast, without washing between uses. The bottles harbor bacteria and that bacteria gets in your lungs. If you've done this,,you may have noticed that you've had a cough that you can't get rid of.

@@bleebleeblahblahohhhh, do you happen to have any idea how long it would take to reverse/cure the chronic cough? I have a bad habit of refilling my reusable water bottle repeatedly. I knew it wasn’t ideal, but hadn’t thought of possible specific repercussions. 🙄 I’ve had a chronic cough for several years, but because it started around the same time as she gave me medication for horrible acid reflux every time I bent over, the doctor said the cough was just something I have to learn to live with it because it was better than the throat cancer that often comes from untreated acid reflux. Sheesh. If getting into the habit of washing my water bottle is all it would take… oh my word 🤦🏽♀️
Beside the bactria, there is another more important reson not to use 1 way bottles, The plastic isn't produced for more than 1 time use, and every year they get less material and softer. This means by first use and after refilling there are lots of rips and plastic cracks happaning which also puts micro plastic into the bewarages and can be found everywhere in the body doing inflamation ( also in the smallest lung capilars which can make cronic caugh too), I think nobody would like the idea of drinking plastic.... In the New cracks there is place for more bactiria to grow... It is Only save 'enough' for 1 use, if at all... ( which is very crazy!!!!). Better if you have save tub water to use that in a safe multitimes washable refil bottel...
Freezing and microwaving (and putting in the dishwasher) this leeches the chemicals in the plastic into the food/liquid we're using the plastic containers/bottles for making it even worse. However, the more likely reason for chronic coughs: the plastic particles are smaller and lighter than water molecules and the slightest inhale could get them into the lung aveoli. Unless you aspirate, water w/ bacteria in it doesn't usually get into the lungs (RN Abbie) PS I, even as a nurse, hardly ever wash my reusable water bottles. I do not have a chronic cough. Also, the digestive track is in no way sterile, in fact, it's not even considered a "clean" area of the body. @@AIT700
to stop the candles from wobbling you can burn the candel and add a little bit of wax from the candle into the stand and it'll keep it from wobbling.

I keep a candle that I just use to burn off the wax. That way I don’t have to melt my new candle. Either way, same concept.
I've volunteered with firefighters for years. Please do NOT use a (flammable!) rubber band on a candle. As others have said, just slightly melt the bottom of candle and place in candleholder.

You can use the lids from grated cheese containers on top of mason jars! Great for use in the kitchen AND in your craft room (instead of drilling holes in lids to thread ribbon or yarn through)!

I use a fuzzy sock from the dollar store to clean my blinds. Put them on your hands and clean away. I also make cook and serve pudding in a large glass measuring bowl in the microwave and cook for 3 minute increments until thickened and done.
Love the microwave pudding idea. Everyone I know (boyfriend too) only likes instant pudding, but my mom raised me making cook & serve pudding and it just tastes better. Microwave edition is a great compromise.
So many amazing home hacks! I love so many of them. I especially like the hanger clip recycling hack! My adult children never have any chip clip or bread ties around, and it drives me a little crazy. But they have kids and are always buying clothes! I want to share an easy hack for hanging curtains ; put a piece of masking tape on the end of the curtain rod that you are going to put into the curtain. Once you have the curtain (s) in the rod, take the tape off and hang them up. This makes it smooth so that if the rod has any sharp spots, or the inside of the curtain has any strings loose ,it won't snag or get hung up.

I buy a fairly inexpensive bag of clothespins (not sure if Dollar Tree has them) and have them closing every bag I open in my kitchen instead of specific snack bag clips that tend to be more expensive.
Yup, they have clothes pins where the dustpans and brooms are. I've been using them for years
I use rubber bands.
I use binder clips. They stay on in the freezer, don't get slid off or get brittle and break. Great for cereal, chips, chocolate chips... All the things.

When cutting an onion that causes tearing light a candle near the cutting board..it really works great!
Or putting a wet towel or rag next to the cutting board. The onion acid is drawn to water. That's why it attacks your eyes. If you have something closer for it to go to, it will.

I put my onions in the refrigerator and I never have shed a tear over cutting onions since.
I always used my bowls upside down to store cakes and muffins and pies. Been doing it for years. I love your ideas . You are very intelligent and creative.❤

Liz, to remove wrinkles from clothing … put your item in dryer with a towel or something much larger than your item so it can “tumble” in your dryer. Add damp washcloth and set on fry for 10 minutes. Wrinkles are gone! Works every time!
The towel in your dryer deal also cuts your electric bill in 1/2.

I didn't know that you aren't supposed to group apples and bananas together, but I am always getting aggravated because my bananas seem to turn brown and mushy. I found a hack that has worked so far and I thought that I would share. Hack: pull the bananas apart then wrap each banana stem covered with aluminum foil. This hack has worked every time since I found out about it and I have been able to keep my bananas from rotting..

I keep ripe bananas in the frig. The skin may look bad, but the banana stays fresh longer. And I have read apples should be stored in the frig.

Use the crusts by making a cut, roll up the crust, in a muffin tin, press down with rolling pin, add garlic butter and cook in a medium oven until golden brown.

Getting the onion wet to cut it is a new one for me! Normally, I turn on my gas stove and cut on the counter near the open flame. The stove burns off the onion compounds as they're released into the air and so reduces tearing. When you get done, cutting the onion, wash your hands with a stainless steel spoon. The stainless steel will absorb the onion odor (works for other food odors too) and your hands will smell clean.
I heard if you put a wooden match between your teeth (unlit, of course), the smell of Sulphur on the tip underneath your nose eliminates the tears. Bc I don't usually have wooden matches on hand in the kitchen, I've never tried, but it's an old hack that's supposed to be tried & true.
Cut the root in off first.
Wash your hands and rub on your faucet, if you have a stainless one. Gets rid of odors from onions or garlic.
I often rinse my onions (I'm a champion onion cryer, it's so bad it's funny) - but the reason I rinse them is because apparently (so I've heard) the juice/sweat can be a little hard on people who get heart burn
Re the lemon oil, it may remove the sticky but will make the floor very slippery and you’ll have to use dish soap to get rid of it…water melts honey and most sugary things ☺️ Apples release a gas that ripens produce, always keep your apples separate from everything else, including fruit in the fridge
Not only keep apples and bananas separate but 5 to 6 feet apart to keep the gas from affecting the bananas.
Unless you're using essential oils that are in oil, that won't be the case. Pure essential oils evaporate. Just an fyi

I am so struck by your ingenuity and creativity. These 60(!) ideas would not come to me naturally, as they do you. Best KZhead hack video EVER! I look forward to trying: the herbs + oil in ice cube trays; mixing baking soda with paint to dress-up acrylic containers; and making my own press-on labels by printing, taping, soaking, rubbing off the original paper label, and sticking the remaining clear labels onto storage containers. To wash the sink, you can also use a dish brush and a drop or two of washing up liquid.
On the hack with the ribbon and mason jar, I have a suggestion. Instead of punching holes in the lid, wouldn’t it be easier to use the lid with a wire grid for flower arrangements? No nails or hammers necessary. 😊
I think the sharpness of the wires in that lid would tear or snag most ribbons. The nail or a punch does a smoother hole.🙂🙏🏼

When you run low on the Dawn Powerwash dish detergent, add reg Dawn to the bottom of the power wash label ( from the writing) with 2 tablespoons of vinegar and fill with water. You'll get the same spray without the expensive cost.

Hi Liz, thank you for the great hacks. One hack I do with the clothes hanger with the clips on it is to hang my drying cloth mats.
I use a store skirt hanger to hang my tub mat to dry after ever shower.
Oh, man, I wash ziplock bags for re-use and always have them draped over stuff in inconvenient places. Those clip hangers would likely work well, maybe hanging from a command strip inside a cabinet or something.

For wrinkly laundry---we spritz w/Dollar Tree Fabric refresher and then throw in dryer for 5-10 min.---make sure you have enough laundry in dryer that the items tumble, as opposed to just staying on the periphery of the dryer drum i.e. centrifigal force--have found it makes a big difference
Liz - I also noticed you store your scissors handle first in the drawer. I do the opposite because sometimes if the handles are sideways or something and you try to close the drawer too fast, the blades shoot out towards you being (obviously) unsafe. Try putting your scissors in a drawer point first with the handle being toward you. That way they are easy to grab when you open the drawer as well as being safer when you close the drawer.
Love your channel!! Regarding the bananas… I recently learned that it’s best to keep bananas separated from each other (not in a bunch). Thus keeps them from ripening too fast!

Refrigerate the bananas once they are ripened to your liking. You can use them to make banana bread.

Wrap the stem end in plastic wrap. It keeps the banana from ripening too quickly.
The wet rag in the dryer works fantastic with anything that has a bit of polyester in it. Cotton is off to the ironing board. With Cotton items I never wash with anything else. I wash them on a gentle cycle and I don't let the last spinning cycle go very long. When I take the cotton items out they are a little more wet, shake them out hard. spray with starch ,let dry on a hanger. Maybe a little steaming when you go to wear them. I grew up ironing everything. I am still an spending Sunday evenings ironing and watching 60 minutes 😂 This was a fun and useful hack video

As a teen I earned extra cash ironing for neighbors 😊 It was one of my chores growing up! I’m now 60. In Home Ec class we were even taught how to properly iron! I’d bet the vast majority of those under 35 yrs old wouldn’t know what an Iron was let alone how to use one!
use liquid starch, it comes in a concentration that you can dilute 6-1 with water an us a spray bottle , make sure your iron is on steam setting, perfect every time
Growing up, Mother would sprinkle starch water on cotton clothing, roll the piece up and put it in the refrigerator. The refrigerated/starched clothing would be ironed later.
Where and when I grew up, we creased EVERYTHING!! Slacks, jeans, cotton sweat pants, tee shirts (guys), and button up shirts (guys). Irons with surge of steam are the best. If you don't have starch, we never did, we were severely "un-rich," turn pants inside out and rub them with a candle, especially where you want the crease, turn them right side out and iron them on high heat. They're good as starched.
With the ice tray hack, you might want to add a few marbles (or similar items) to each corner so that when the ice melts the water doesn't come gushing out because the top tray pressing is down. Depending on how long your function lasts and the outside temp, of course.
Hi Liz, Vinegar and baking soda works so well as a cleaner of your sink, counter tops, etc. In fact, if ever I burn a pot, i just put vinegar and baking soda into the pot and boil it for a few minutes. It just lifts all the burn so easily. It just washes everything off

Hey Liz - on the twine in the mason jar, you should create a simple divider out of thin cardboard or thick cardstock (heck even cut up toilet paper rolls will work) to separate the twines so they do not tangle in the jar.
I was wondering about that. I don't know if you can use it for any ribbon, tho, unless it's the really thin kind. I like your suggestion about card stock for dividers bc I have a lot of diff patterns that'd look really cute. Thx
Alternatively you can use smaller jars for each twine. No need to run out & buy a jar when some of your food already comes in jars 😊. Just save the jar & drill a hole into the lid.
When it comes to the apples and the banana you don't store them near each other. The gas that the apples emit from ripening speeds up the ripening of the banana. If you want to slow the ripebing of bananas wrap the top of the stems in aluminum foil
Dip the tips in low temp wax also works! The organic bananas from the store come pre-waxed
I save used dryer sheets to dust with. I keep a cookie jar on a shelf over my dryer, & I put missing socks in the bottom, & the used dryer sheets on top. After every load, after I remove the lint catcher, I wipe it down w/a dryer sheet, & then either use that or another one to wipe down the tops of the washer & dryer, & anything else. That's how I discovered that they're like dust & lint magnets! They work just as well as Swiffer dry sheets, but w/o the extra price, & they soften your clothes before use. Some ppl use them to dust w/before putting them in the dryer, but you can use them just the same after. I also never buy swiffer dry or wet sheets for use w/my actual Swiffer. I save kitchen washcloths that have stains on them to clean with, & they fit perfectly around the Swiffer head. To clean tile floors, I spray Windex on the floor & use the cloth in the Swiffer to wipe up. I do the same on hardwood using a wood floor cleaner, & it works great! The texture on kitchen wash cloths work far better to scrub than the Swiffer wet sheets

Your chicken nugget hack reminded me of lunches my Mom did when I was a kid. She would heat a hotdog in soup and put both soup and hotdog in a thermos. Then she would take a hotdog bun and dress it with mustard, ketchup and mayo, wrap it in plastic. When lunch time rolled around I fished out the hotdog and place it in the bun - presto, hot lunch at school. My sister claims Mom tied a thread to the hotdog for ease of removal from the thermos, but I don't remember her doing that for me. My sister is 9 years older so I suspect by the time I got to school, Mom decided the thread was unnecessary.
My $10 sandwich crust cutter off thing is the best thing I ever bought! I use it every day and love it.
I recommend using sliced sweet brioche bread for the uncrustables . Nature’s Own brand has a delicious brioche style sliced bread and it makes pbj sandwiches all that better 😊
Yeah, I've thought the uncrustables hold together because of the nasty glue-producing Wonder Bread. To hear it works with brioche makes me feel better.
When sweeping I use my mini vacuum instead of wasting a paper towel to pick up crumbs. Although I have reusable paper towels too.

My ex use to work at a shoe store and was a major sneaker collector, he would go to DOLLAR TREE and buy their “shoe eraser” to use personally and in his store and they work like a charm.
I use my clip-type clothes hangers: To hang recipes, dishwashing gloves + dishcloth or towel Just couple ideas. I Loooove tips/trips if not cause me to go out & "buy" something.
At 72 yrs old, I try and reinvent my 📦 packages and good glass jars. I still rinse and dry zip lock bags. If it held grapes one day, used but not filthy. I have had 6 thumb surgeries, my house is adjusted for me. It is a new start to let go of all the things I really don't need. Take care!

We use the washcloth dryer hack all the time. I have found to make sure the dryer is on high heat and then set my timer for 10 min or so. Works every time.
Hi Liz, I just watched your piece on doing labels with a computer and printing on paper plus using wide packing tape and soaking it in water. My much easier and quicker hack is to simply get transparent label sheets. There is an initial cost but there are many labels once you buy the pack. There are many sizes and shapes so you can easily choose any computer font, print, and stick on the container.
You can also get a full sheet and cut labels to fit as you need them.

So sorry to you. Watched my mother's grief when my 21 yr old brother was killed. It was horrible. It's gotten easier but I hate to hear or know of any mother losing their child. I have 1 daughter and I just cant imagine getting through that. You sound very strong. Thats amazing.
My favorite $Tree purchase is a pack of bright colored pipe cleaners. Corral cords tie bread bags. Temporarily close close a screen door that has a hook aod & eye. Cut them with cheap scissors. I used them to keep cats from pushing their way outside and even shut chickens in their coop. Colored uck tape is also a lifesaver. I would have used it rather than painting the bottom of an acrylic box.
You can also use a Pringle potato chip can for your paint brushes.
Uncrustables , works well for any sandwich. My grandkids like Nutella uncrustables and ham and cheese. 🧀 yay
Hi Liz, great idea putting an elastic around the candle, 🕯️ what I do instead is light an old candle and let some wax drops inside the holder and quickly put back the new candle. Or heat up the bottom of your candle until some wax is dropping and fix your candle in the holder, hold it straight for few seconds and voilà! 😊

Hello Liz, I saw your have to tie your bag by making two handles to tie the bag together. I have another way to tie these bags so nothing falls out. I just cut a strip off the top of the bag and save this strip. After you use what you need from the opened bag just pull the top together and use the strip you cut off to tie the bag together and it's easy to undo the knot and reclose the bag when you put it away. I use this on French fries and the premade salad mixes.
Stabilize that glass in the bowl with some craft putty to reduce slippage or spillage.

Hey Liz if you want to store salt or sugar in something with a pour spout just cut the top off of the salt box and place it in a mason jar ring pour your salt in the jar and put the ring on it , it works great and looks better than a salt box AND can be used for sugar as well.
So you cut it to exactly fit the circle of the ring, right?

I put my twine in a mason jar but I get the flower frog lid at dollar tree to replace the regular mason jar lid.
Anyone who has ever made a pb&j for your lunchbox, knows that the jelly side of the bread gets soggy. However, if you mix the peanut butter and jelly in a bowl before you spread it on the bread, then you don't get soggy bread or drippy jelly.

For the hangers with clips - instead of breaking the clips off to use on your chip bags, leave the clips on the hanger. Then you can hang up both chip bags on a hook in the pantry. Frees up counter/ shelf space.
Definitely love the yellow hack for cleaning blinds. But I have all the stuff at home already for the blue so...
As for the onion, if you leave the roots on until the very last cut, you are less likely to tear up😢! Apples, bananas and citrus should always be stored separately. Meat: RAW pork, chicken and beef should also ALWAYS be wrapped/stored separately! Cross contamination will occur otherwise. If you have to dry a piece of clothing really fast, put in a few clean dry towels with the wet item. It cuts the drying time by more than half!
We have used the clothes hanger chip clip hack for years and love it. I just tried the photo declutter hack and am thrilled at how easy of a stop and go process it is. Thank you
We use binder clips as 1) chip clips, 2) to keep the ends of our toothpaste tube rolled up, and 3) for papers 😊.

I make uncrustables and I do 2 thin layers of peanut butter on each piece of bread and thin layer of jelly in the middle and they seem to hold up better⚜️💜

Good comment. I don't bother with keeping the countertops clean/empty of the things I use all the time. Life is too short and my back is too weak to spend time looking for things I use all the time and then have to move them to use them. But it is a good comment.
Try this with the small hangers with clips. Use the hanger with a cookbook. You clip it to the recipe that you want, and hang it close by while you cook
Will try the garlic hack. Battery hack great too. The clips from the hanger, love it.

Except Firefighters are saying NO! A big huge NO! They’re flammable. Instead (carefully) drip wax into the candle holder then set the candle in there. Or just don’t use a candle that doesn’t fit correctly. They say they see far too many house fires caused by candles!

20:00 I keep clothespins in a bowl in the drawer by the fridge, use them for closing all bags in freezer and pantry. (Even cereal bags) Cheap, simple and work great.

I use my mom's punch bowl and cups for salad. The bowl gets lettuce. the cups get different salad toppings.
I liked the 🌿 herb cubes hack and the painting acrilic containers hack! Its great for when the acrilic starts to naturally yellow... so you can update the color instead of throwing it out!
I never noticed that search option on my phone for photos 😂 I was watching this in bed at 6am. When this photo clearing Tip came up I literally jumped out of bed to try this lol (I have 11,000 pics! Most are screenshots that I desperately need to delete lol) I’ve been decluttering my home like a Beast 😂 (easily 30 kitchen trash bags to Goodwill or the dumpster! I was close to being a Hoarder of mostly Dollar Tree/General stuff! But no more! I’m SO proud of myself! I only had help when a 20 yr old kid in my Building offered to help me take bins (of stuff sorted through 😊) to my new tiny storage unit! He has a SUV. I have a tiny car. He helped also with just cheering this Grandma on! I’m 60 (61 on the 19th Jan) You couldn’t see the floor in my Apt! Well…. No more! It looks great and I did it without 1. Making any other spaces worse and 2. Without throwing everything I owned away and 3. Without keeping everything! I kept probably 25% Everything. Else. Went. ByeBye ❤ So why not get my phone decluttered! I’ve since been meeting other people who’ve been decluttering and reclaiming their spaces in the short time 2024 has been here! I still go to Dollar Tree/General! I’m just cautious lol They had GLASS food storage containers at DT ❤ I got a couple! A goal has been to replace all that Plastic ware with glass! And 2 days ago I met that goal too! I got rid of all my plastic ware smaller than a mixing bowl! I have 6 glass ones now! It’s just me. I don’t need 2 cupboards full of the other stuff lol If there’s a time I know I’ll need bigger keepers, I can run to Dollar Tree and grab one! You can do it too if this has been a goal of yours! Once you get started and you see progress you’ll feel like you’ve downed a giant energy drink lol On today’s agenda… LAUNDRY! ……at the Apartment Laundromat! My washer stopped spinning! I can’t afford a repairman. 🤷🏼♀️ lol What’s your organization goal for January?

Once I got past the total humiliation of getting a warning letter telling me I had 7 days to clean up or I was out, well… I let my neighbor in, I let the guy at GoodWill know why I was donating so much. What I got wasn’t judgement 😊 And You just did the same. Thank you for that! I had a husband and a kid, we had a beautiful home. We were a family. But in 2012 I lost them. I lost everything. I lost my health. My grown daughter left our state with our grandchild and went no contact. My breast cancer returned. My husband of 29 years left me. I lost my beautiful clean organized home. So turning into a hoarder in a small Apt messed me up. My Daughter has since apologized and I now have 2 Grandchildren! She’s still in another state. But I’m slowly getting a life back. Since I posted that, I’ve made even more progress 😊 but moreover I’ve not binge shopped! I’m very careful about what I bring in! Your kindness and pride in me means a lot! I just want to feel like a normal person again lol I showed the guy at GW pics of my Apartment. He was so nice and was shocked saying “wait a minute lol your place is beautiful and it was just cluttered!” lol I still cleaned lol 😂 and only found 1 dead bug! One thing I’ve noticed is the more I accomplish the more I want to accomplish!
it is so hard losing people we love and grief comes in all sizes and colors, I stopped cleaning my house for 2 years when my mother died in 2010. I know you must feel great having your home back. I'm a single dad as well. Just watched this with my 3 year old girl and it was kinda funny to see just how similar our evening routine (and kitchen for that matter) is with yours. Feels nice to see others out there who go embrace being a single dad to its fullest, as incredibly hard and stressful as it often is. Not that you haven't heard it already, but well done sir. Reading through these comments gives me more drive to keep going in the face of adversity and not much as far as a support system. Thank you.

I love your hacks, but you missed it on the apples. They give off a gas that causes other fruits and veggies to ripen. That's why you put one apple in a plastic bag with unripe tomatoes, etc. Putting them so close to the bananas like you did would cause the bananas to ripen faster and go bad faster.
I'm not sure what the purpose of the "uncrustable" is. What's wrong with the crust? I don't live in the US, so I'm not sure why one takes off the crust. Do you use the crust for something or do you just throw it out?
Some ppl especially kids don't the crust it's just a personal preference. And yes some ppl just throw it out❤
@bella67402 really?! They throw it out? Oh wow! That's awful. Throwing out bread. What's so horrible about the crust? We usually use leftover bread for all kinds of things. Must be something awful in the crust if it's not liked.

Save the crusts in a bag and freeze. When you have enough to make about 4 cups worth, thaw and use them to make sweet or savory bread pudding.
The baking soda and citrus cleaner works with the cheap bottled lemon or lime. I use the dregs when a bottle is almost empty or past its prime. Saves having to have fresh fruit around. Great hacks, by the way!
You can also use Martini Glass for Dips, then you dont have the extra deep area
