Supreme Commander 2 is a real-time strategy (RTS) video game developed by Gas Powered Games and published by Square Enix. It is a sequel to Supreme Commander.When the Black Sun was deployed by the UEF, it created a rift between the Seraphim realm and humanity's realm. An army of the Seraphim came through the rift to cleanse the galaxy.
The story starts with the newly elected President's assassination, causing the breakup of the coalition formed during the expansion of the first game.
The first campaign (dedicated to the UEF or United Earth Federation) follows Dominic Maddox, a UEF officer who is married to an Illuminate. Maddox fights off Cybran until the UEF Commander he serves declared that all Illuminate are terrorists and orders him on a mission to "round up" the Illuminate from his home city. Maddox refuses, goes rogue, and decides to go on his own campaign to remove his old commanding officer from power. Immediately following the defeat of the UEF Commander, he discovers a portal that leads to Seraphim VII, unlocking the second campaign.
The second campaign (dedicated to the Illuminate) follows Commander Thalia Kael as she fights to restore the Illuminate to their former glory before turning against her former comrades and realizing her mistake.
The Cybran campaign follows Ivan Brackman (an experimental genetic composite clone of Dr. Brackman and Elite Commander Dostya), an old roommate of Maddox, who fights under the direction of Dr. Brackman (whom Ivan refers to as "father" while attempting to help his friends).
The final battle takes place on the surface of an ancient planetary terraformer called Shiva Prime. After the battle, Ivan comes to a realisation about Shiva Prime and does not conform to his father's will.

Correction: The Cybranasauras Rex DOES actually breath fire, as revealed on the mission where the Cybran Commander is tasked with destroying a rouge Dinosaur.
I thought it was a brun dinosaur.
Listen to Pacific Rim's theme while watching this, it got even more intense as you start seeing either universal colossus or king kriptor marching into battle
One way to easily deal with either of those things, is to swarm them, either with gunships, or lots of little experimentals..... ie: megaliths, fatboys, or urchinows

Did you do this base on 1v1 match ups or just their overall usefulness for their cost? It's very rare to see cyberanasaurus rex, king kryptors, soul rippers, darkenoids, and especially the super tritons in competitive play (sorry if I misspell names) The Sooprizer outclasses the Darkenoid in damage and health, Soul Ripper dies too fast for time and resources to build Super Triton outclassed by the UEF battleships Jackhammers pound for pound can stand up to a Monkey Lord My list for "pound for pound" value or usefulness 1 Monkey Lord (Best standard main experimental) 2 AC1000 (Can become a swarm to fast to deal with) 3 Mega Fortress (Will control skies) 4 Jackhammer (Drawback from their 'unpacking' and inability to shoot close range) 5 Universal Colossus (Good standard main experimental) UEF has higher ranked 'battle' units, but when it comes to buildings the other's experimentals tip the scales idk just my thoughts, nice vid :)
6:12... I think it was more inspired by the ythota from the seraphim, because there is a machingun, a huge alpha strike gun, and the rockets do the AOE
I really don't understand how you rated them. On one hand you have the Darkenoid on #10, SR2 on #8 but the AC1k on #6 like you would take ressource effectiveness and tech level into account, but then you don't have Urchinows and Wildfinjas anywhere on the list while those two are pretty much the most cost efficient ones in the game.

Why is the soul ripper not #1? It is almost impossible to counter an army of those things during a game (especially if they have maxed out training). The game literally was ruined without nerfing that one unit.
i just destroyed 2 ripper with 16 wasps
1v1 a soul ripper and a monkeylord and the monkeylord will lose 10/10 times. This ranking system is bogus from the start as you are not considering all round effectiveness. Air units are super broken on Supreme Commander 2. Airnomo is a good counter against all air units and experimental air units so why is it not on this list as well?

I played Supreme Commander 2 for the first time this passed weekend, while it is a decent game something you can't say about the majority of games anymore it doesn't deserve the title Supreme Commander.

i've download SC2 in my computer it works fine but it misses some experimental units as the monky lord and that naval unit and the jackhammer. where can i get those. (they dont even exist)

+John Dillinger NO! pls dont say him partially wrong info, also in such rude manner :-] ..this is an old misunderstand that some users have..SupCommFA its a masterpiece, but was created most with the single player in mind; SupComm2+DLC was designed especially for the multi, it has better balance and strategy, lots better engine optimization(aka it runs even on lower PC hardware than the first game!!!) shorter match time, and also the fricking awesome tech-tree!(u can even play it as a "moba" buffing only the commander) , yes the first have more units, more unit cap, more detail, more experimental, yes, but hey if fighting half match with the resource progression for a 3 hour game it was ideal for the multiplayer...XD the devs would not have changed the engine/mechanics/design and would have only a copy-paste like blizzTard do for SC2. Actually i think that the Air Fortress is a one man army cuz it costs so much but the spamming of a figther swarm is costs less than building them and the Air Fortress has main weapons too

The UC would lose to a King, easy. For one the King has more weapons compared to the one direct beam that the UC gets. I've personally tested this with many of my friends. The UC is just too weak compared to the King, all the UC has over the King is that it can pick up and launch smaller units at its opponents.

I'm gonna be real as a cybran player once I've gotten 30+ soul ripper on the board no one has ever defeated me, even massive hoards of fighters supported by like 5 nonstop producing air fortresses wasnt enough to stop it
Ikr, it literally needs to be nerfed or something, because their are very few ways to counter it, few of which can be futile if given enough soul rippers with max out training. (Not even including veterancy...)

Me not understanding how monkeylord, a mid game experimental in FA (and supcom) with less than 50k hp was made twice stronger in supcom 2 without any look change. This unit is literraly more than 100 years old in the lore of supcom and it's the best unit of supcom 2, but it was literally getting bullied by some percevals in the past !
Because supcom 2 was a cash grab made by people who didn't care about lore or units.
May as well forget the ground units unless your opponents are using only UEF. Otherwise one loyalty cannon or magnatron and your units are usless or worse, converted against you....

Consoles compatibility is what killed the SupCom series. There won't be another one. Console RTS suck. SupCom 1 on PC still has a big community while the second one is basically dead.

Ok when comparing SC2 and FA, there is one clear difference in gameplay. SC2 is a more unbalanced game to mess around in but FA is actually focused on being a balanced game

wrong. The King Kriptor will win on one vs one against the galactic coloss. But you have to stay near the enemy. Cause the main weapon weapon has a long range but you have other short weapons too. The galactic coloss doesnt have any more weapons. So you will win, even if the enemy has more hp

I did a 42 vs 42 king kriptor vs universal colossus and I only lost 5 King kriptors and the universal colossus none left
+ethan parrett can be, all the experimentals have different strong point and weakness, the KKriptor should be an anti experimental, the UColossus i think is an anti-mass weak units and a lot better siege than the kriptor. I imagine there's lots of deep balancing strat under the experimentals, a thing that supcomm have not so much :-)

This comment was made a month ago. It's nice to see that people are still interested in SupCom 1-2-Forged Alliance even after years of release. I have to admit that joining multiplayer games is practically impossible. I can only get, like, one person in the lobby and that's it. Either way, congratulations on being a fan of the Supreme series all the way to 2021!

endo life ohhh I get you now. If you have a decent gaming PC or just a good desktop to throw a graphics card in play it on there. You get the dlc experimentals, higher unit cap, and mods. I think they shutdown the servers but I think you can host your own to play with other people. I have a Xbox one that plays the game and I am going to move to the PC version when I get it fully built.

No, I can personally say this. I bought the expansion and there was no additional experimentals of any kind added to the Xbox version. Save your ten dollars, don't get it. The new maps aren't that good.
