Great video. Your communication skills are excellent and you laid everything out without additional details that are unnecessary most of the time. Thank you so much for this video. I anticipate an easy delivery but we want to know all the possibilities. Great job. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for the nice reply! I hope you have a healthy and smooth delivery! 😊
Wow! Your colloidal silver eye treatment was great, as was all, thank you.
Thx God bless you and all your goat
Thank you for sharing.
Great video...enjoyed learning. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
great vidio, thankyou !
Thank you. Great video!!!! Our kids are due any day now. I really enjoyed this. Very well put together. Thanks for taking the time to make this for us.
You are so welcome! I am glad it was helpful 😊 I hope your kidding goes smoothly!
Great video!
Thank you! I hope it was helpful 👍
Nicely done. Our first kids are due early March. We're adding the colloidal silver to our arsenal. On the mineral thing... We provided both powered and a block that they can take as they wanted. Interestingly, they ignored them while they were still foraging in the fall. More recently the block is noticably consumed. My question is: can I expect they seek out what they need? They seem very healthy and I'm hoping that's true. Thanks for the great info!
Hello! Thank you for the comment and question! As you have noticed, they do have instincts for when their bodies need those minerals and it varies with the diet that they are eating. Just keep up with what you are doing and have the minerals, quality hay/forage, and feed available for them especially as they near kidding time and they should get all they need. Congratulations on having a nice healthy goat herd and I wish you all the best in your first kidding! Very exciting!
Thanks for the video, we have 3 nigerian dwarf goats who should be due in march altho it looks like the oldest is ready any day here. anyways i had a question as to what the blue barrel was in the stall? Is it a feed barrel. Also colloidal silver is great i use it after each milking to disinfect the teats.
Those blue barrels are heavy duty plastic barrels that we bought used. They are often used to store things like chemicals in them and then can be resold and recycled for other things like heat barrels. I hope your kidding in March goes wonderfully!
Colloidal silver is great!!! I use it for all our animals! I make a silver and lavender oil in glass bottle for cuts! We have 3 does about to kid soon, thank you for sharing this video!!
That sounds like a great idea. Thanks for the comment and I hope that your kiddings go smoothly!!
@@honeyacreshomestead Thank you!!!
Wdym by thick colostrum? What texture it has? What happens to it when you freeze it
Many times the colostrum will be thicker and more yellow in color than regular milk. This is not always the case and it does depend on the goat. We have frozen colostrum in ziploc bags and it is great to have on hand in case of an emergency!
I make Colloidal Silver at .08 microns and 23 ppm, and all mammals, including humans get it on the farm. Great choice!!
Yes! We love learning the more natural remedies for us and our animals.
Hi first timer here. I have a lamancha sannan doe that is due in early May. When should I separate her from our buck. . we only have two goats so they really love to be together
How exciting for you! Since they are bonded and goats don't like to be alone, I would keep them together until the last few weeks as long as they don't headbutt too much and the mama isn't getting stressed or over exercised. Also, make sure that she is getting plenty of good nutrition, especially towards the end, and doesn't have to fight for food with the buck. Thanks for the question! I hope it all goes beautifully for you!
I have 2 pregnant female goats together forever- due soon. Should I separate both ?
It is nice to give them their own space when kidding if possible, but definitely not necessary especially since they are used to being together.
In which country is this happening
