If you actually want to know it’s probably because docs is used far less and for security reasons they probably don’t or can’t share information across their products/applications. Chrome is used hundreds of millions of times per day and docs likely only makes a hundred thousands corrections in that time, it just doesn’t have as much information so it’s not as smart

If you actually want to know it’s probably because docs is used far less and for security reasons they probably don’t or can’t share information across their products/applications. Chrome is used hundreds of millions of times per day and docs likely only makes a hundred thousands corrections in that time, it just doesn’t have as much information so it’s not as smart

Google Docs is so hilariously incompetent with its spellcheck and auto-fixes that I just keep a separate tab open specifically for checking.
There is a feature you can turn on called enhanced spell check that makes docs use google. It’s turned off by default for security reasons.
No wonder chrome was so big while google docs was… *tiny*

I experienced this many times Especially when it is like british and american spelling For example if I wrote *colour* it will show red under-line but if I wrote *color* it will not show red under-line. But sometimes it will accept british spelling

I mean sometimes you know thr answer just not the journey to it. Happens in higher maths sometimes. (I said what i said. If its correct in British English but not American English, its correct. Same thing goes for vise versa. English is English damnit!) Not everyone can teach the thing thwy know how to do. Thats just how it is because not everyone is a teacher. Funny quote: those who cant do, teach. And those that do can't always teach. Granted, its not a one or the other by any means. Some can in fact both do and teach.
