People saying bunions can be naturally fixed clearly don’t have them, I was born with them and no matter how hard my parents tried to keep me in wide foot shoes and barefoot/socks only my bunions just got worse as I aged, at 25 they’re the worst they’ve ever been It’s a build up of bone/cartilage and is usually linked with other issues in the body, I have a high calcium absorption rate which means I have a build up of calcium and cartilage in my joints, my toes and knees being the worst, no homeopathy is going to fix my bunions just “ jigsaw surgery “ whee they cut out the excess bone/cartilage and fit the toe back together like a jigsaw - the uk recommends you wait until ir 25 or older since the rate of cartilage growing back practically drops to nothing after you finish developing But nothing is going to naturally help my bunions they will just continue to get worse unless I intervene

Just stretch your toes out every so often. I saw a video of some guy saying that if you can separate ALL your toes, it helps with plantar fasciitis. But, he said mainly separating the big toe from your other toes. I've found being able to separate and flex all of them and try moving them separately help more though!! It takes a lot of practice and focus at first. Sometimes I had to assist the movements with my hands to get a feel for it. It's better if you're able to do it yourself though because then you don't really have to think about doing it and you really are stretching your own muscles. I usually absent-mindedly do it when watching TV on the couch or reading in bed. I don't even realize I'm doing it sometimes. It relieved most of my foot pain.

You can also walk barefoot AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE and have your feet naturally go back to shape. You can also use toe spacers and dont necessarily need this fancy stuff. Dont listen to me though, id recommend everyone to ask their licensed professional doctor about such concerns. iirc bunions can also somewhat cause flat foot which is not good either as the way the toes become shaped collapse the natural arch of the foot, but for some people thats a natural defect so again ask your doctor.

I personally wouldn't use these contraptions because they could damage your toe. To avoid the issue outright, just wear wide foot shoes or flip flops/sandals. Getting shoes with sizes a little bit bigger than what you might other wise helps. move your toes around, don't them get squished by your shoes.
I do believe the ad said "we all need ONE of these"
Any podiatrist will tell you those things are gimmicks! They will not fix the alignment of your feet. You need to have corrective surgery in order to really fix the issue. But they will also tell you to stop wearing shoes with a narrow toe. They will only further misalign your toes. If you're worried about this issue please see a trained physician.
They would rather avoid operation as its dangerous to do so they either make you wear an insole for your day to day shoes or tell you to get one of these badboys
Ok?

Walking barefoot also helps if your feet aren't FUBAR, that and wide shoes. Prevention beats treatment.

You can solve this issue early if you just stop wearing your factory lined shoes and get customs. All the different shapes for the toes of shoes squish your toes together causing this issue. Adjust your footwear and you'll be fine. If You've already screwed up, you can at least keep it from happening to your kids.
Yapyap
Its also hereditary, I've had bunions even as a baby the pics are hilarious
Right, let me put that on my " to Don't" list right next to wake up and roll around in the extra money I somehow have to be able to afford custom shoes.
As a nursing student, these do not help. These make it worse. In the medical field we have a saying "Treat the problem, not the symptom." If you have a bunion, you can use this to get a more normal shape, but the joint and bone is going to be under stress it isn't used to. Go to a doctor, not amazon.

My bunion is on a whole other level. Looks like I grew up playing soccer with a stone ball 😂
Theres really a simple answer, just wear shoes with wider toe boxes that wont reshape your feet and give you awkwardly shaped bones. Most shoes nowadays push our toes together and over time this reshapes the way they naturally align. If you buy shoes a half size or so bigger than you usually need it can help resolve the issue a bit as well
They don't work 💀 Bunions can only be corrected with surgery
That’s not true. Wide toe boxes and walking barefoot will correct them over time
@@dillonwolcott7655 I remember if it's bad enough you legit need surgery, I learned it from a foot doctor on here actually

@@miker3909 what
@@miker3909 thst person is actually right. If children start wearing shoes at the age of 1 or 2, you already start the process of altering the bone structure to kinda become pointy to fit into those shoes. That is why a lot of feet look like her (plus other factors as genes, generally body condition). But shoes play a big role in that too. Might feel some relief, but it doesn't ultimately help with Bunion's as the only way would be surgery. Guy in the first clip was faking it too btw.
Don’t listen to this guy . You can fix your bunions little by little but we are talking 4-6 years minimum… it’s not gonna be overnight or a one year process. You’re also gonna have to get used to it so you’ll go a very very long time in super discomfort so you can see why surgery would be better … either way the answer is YES you CAN fix then
those dont fix your bunions 😭😭😭 nooooo
Wait until the foot doc reacts to it💀
That crack sound was traumatic
Please be aware that hyperflexion does NOT fix a long-term deformation of your foot/toes. You can crack the joints in your toes like those of your hands, but that isn't reorienting them or the bones within. Putting your toe in traction like this can actually cause you harm.
As said by doc foot dana, it will just come back as it was, and will stay like that until surgery.😊
It's caused by a dislocated joint. Assuming it's worn long enough like a splint it should actually correct the issue. However if you wear pointed or restrictive shoes before it fully heals it'll come back. Surgery just pins the joint in place since the ligaments are usually weak.
So pretty 😍
Your feet are the way they are because they adapted to whatever you are putting them through, leave them alone unless you actually have a really bad pain, if that's the case find out why your feet hurt and try your best to avoid it or subside it, don't try to "fix" your feet or toes
