I never knew Lil Peep or even knew about his music then one night on Netflix the Documentary, "Everybody's Everything" caught my eye and I started watching it. And wow I couldn't leave it and his story really reeled me in and especially learning how much of a good, good person he was. I felt so damn sad at the end. His story and that documentary has really stuck with me too, that's why I'm here and I'm 59 damn years in age. But age don't mean anything when like his Grandpa said, " he is beyond the blue now " ! I am so grateful he grew and got better from his Switch Up (17:55). Repeat rappers are so lame, find a verse and repeat it for a 3 minute track- it lacks talent and sounds stupid. X had more fame at the time of his passing than Peep did, but they're both legends. They both would've been huge, tbh I think X would've been one of the most successful artists out there. I think Peep could've gotten to a similar place and beyond, I just think it might've taken longer because X's music has wider appeal. Reality is straight trash and you have to be crazy or trashed to not be miserable so peeps openness about the misery in himself and around him is just being real and genuine with his words and thats almost never seen now. So it is quite comforting to know that you're not the crazy one and the suffering you feel is all around you but just never discussed because its not socially excepted.

I never knew Lil Peep or even knew about his music then one night on Netflix the Documentary, "Everybody's Everything" caught my eye and I started watching it. And wow I couldn't leave it and his story really reeled me in and especially learning how much of a good, good person he was. I felt so damn sad at the end. His story and that documentary has really stuck with me too, that's why I'm here and I'm 59 damn years in age. But age don't mean anything when like his Grandpa said, " he is beyond the blue now " ! Peace and keep your head up all !

I never heard his music until about a year ago for the first time. This younger chick turned me onto him. Her and her boyfriend were swingers, I moved in with them and we would listen to peep all night sniffing coke and having 3sums, fuckin crazy ass couple of months.
Wow, I'm not the only one who learned of him thru the Netflix documentary. I watched it at 4am in the morning about 4 months ago. I identify with his music and I listen to him more than I do the 80's. He keeps me going everyday.

I am so grateful he grew and got better from his Switch Up (17:55). Repeat rappers are so lame, find a verse and repeat it for a 3 minute track- it lacks talent and sounds stupid. That being said, I love Lil Peep. His style and flow showed the talent he had and I think he could have grown to be a very big in talent and fame. This is a musician whose music you can listen to all the time. He has definitely earned the status of a legend.
