    • It's called "Large Animal Death Scream" and is a stock sound effect from the 90s. Just Google search the name and you'll find a bunch of clips of it of varying quality.

  • So the beginning has a reflection of Brennan, seemingly holding up a sign. Anyone make put what's on there?

    • The clip briefly continues at the end of the ad, but the sign has been lowered at the point where it picks back up. I played it back maximized on quarter speed and paused right on the sign. It's illegible, unfortunately, between the compression and the lack of context. I doubt the text will be identified until someone recognizes the original clip the sign is from. As far as that goes, I'm at a bit of a loss, unfortunately. I still haven't made it through all of the pandemic-era Dimension 20 episodes because watching people try to interact via telepresence gives me major agita and I'm pretty sure that's where the clip is from. Could also be a bit of BtS footage, in which case the only people likely to positively identify it are the cast and crew themselves. Frankly, I'm just glad I'm not the only one who compulsively goes to the effort of viewing subliminal shots.

    • Ads are only bad when they show you things you don't want. Plenty of things I didn't know existed that I totally want/have now, not because "I was marketet to", but because "I was made aware of an awesome thing that exists". If ads didn't *constantly* show me junk I would never in a thousand years want/try to infect my computer, I'd totally turn off adblockers and such.

  • Hey Dropout, I have an important question! I have been an on-and-off subscriber on the dropout app for quite some time, but the app doesn't agree with some of my devices and I have some issues. If I join your channel on KZhead instead, do I get access to the same content? I'm mostly interested in Dimension20 and Game Changer.

    • Hi, not Dropout, but I can answer this question as someone who had this exact problem! I am subscribed now *exclusively* on KZhead because I prefer the interface and it works better across my devices (I have a lot of weird archaic ones I like to use). You get all the same shows, and captions are still provided (which is huge for me personally, I always have captions on). It's the same price, same content, just an easier interface to use. I'm sure Dropout's site and apps will be updated eventually, but in the meantime I am happy to have the same options on KZhead

I wen through several seasons of gamechanger, as well as 3 seasons of Dimension 20 on the dropout app. I love to listen to Dimension20 while working, I use bluetooth earbuds and for some reason, every other day, the pause/play function (on earbud button press) just does not work at all when using the dropout app. Once I finish the couple of audiobooks on my list, I'll sub up and get to work on more Dimension20!
