Can second gen lenses fit third Gen frames?
Your Echo Frame is Narrow with size 55-17-147. Which is 55*2+17 = 127mm. I ordered a Gray Rectangle and it is wide at 57-16-147; which is 57*2+16 = 130 mm. The size difference between narrow and wide is just 3 mm. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it would fit me fine. I ordered prescription ready and I plan to put a photochromic blue light filtering glass.

Can you turn them off while wearing them? Not crazy about constant wifi and BT on my temple lol. Mines coming tomorrow
I want to turn them off for a different reason. As prescription glasses I expect to wear them all day. I want to preserve the battery for extended podcast listening when I’m ready for it.
2nd gen could be turned off by holding down the power button. Hope these operate the same way. Charging mine now!

The sun glasses version is my favorite pair to wear out and about and in the car. I think I want to try a new prescription and put it in these. Would certainly be worth it as it is pretty comparable to a new set of frames and could be used with a HSA.

So no cameras and you can’t get to social media. That charging stand is not portable.
Something we could all use a bit less of. I would say it is pretty portable for travel. But no, the charging stand doesn't have a built in battery.
@@TechWithBrett The charging stand is the worst part of the new product design. I have no idea why they made it like this, but it is the single dumbest decision of the newer design.
When doing your videos like this you really need to start bleeping out the word alexa and echo because I was watching a TV show on my TV and with your voice using the word you screwed up my television show it left my program

Ironically, by changing the end of the frames, so they grasp more tightly, you will then likely inhibit the frames ability to charge properly on the stand. The poor design here cannot be overstated.
