    • Many owners have difficulty with clipping nails. I understand it. However, it’s not good for the dog and It hurts their paws too! We’ve started taking my to get her nails done at her vet. If you can’t do it yourself, you should consider it part of the cost of owning a pet.

    • It seems that the owners don't know how to properly handle this dog which could potentially be dangerous for all involved. How were they deemed to be good "parents" for this breed? If your telling the owners is not convincing them to properly train this dog, what will it take? An injury? Based on what you say, his owners do not need to have that dog. No human should have a huge dog that has no respect for authority with dominance tendencies. I'd hate for this dog to try to correct one of the owners or another animal or child and then the dog ends up paying the price because the owners are too lax.

You as a dog owner know your dogs body language and if ignored on purpose thinking “ oh I my child wants to ride on a dogs back or put fingers in its eyes, then the dog needs to let it all happend “ thats ignorance. And this why people and children get hurt.

All youre trying to do is teach him his position in the hyarchy. I think his parents need to be taught how to handle him as well or as he gets older, he's gonna be too much to handle. • You are pretty much the only channel I watch anymore! I relate to how Bishop is giving you sass. There’s a giant bully breed mix at my work (he’s actually the dog in my profile pic here 😄) that thinks he can do whatever he wants. He is super sweet if you let him do as he pleases, but as soon as I try to correct him he try’s to snap at me or bite my fingers/arms 😕 I’ve learned a lot from you and it has helped so much with the dogs at the shelter. I hope over time he accepts that he’s not above me. It’s going to be hard trying to find him a serious home with someone that can handle him and continue his training

  • That's why it's extremely important to educate these dogs at a very young age and establish the hierarchy as soon as possible. We can't afford to let a dog of this size become aggressive and authoritarian. These aren't dogs for any master. It must be clear, in case of bad education, everything is always the fault of the master.

He didn’t even growl or fought back. I think he’s just a big baby who needs a little more training. Your doggies are just too beautiful and the way they behave amazes me.

    • Just like as a parent we tell our children when they are disrespectful and rude...we equally tell them when they are good praise their correct behavior. Just like she did when he sat or minded she told him good and made sure the other dogs didn't bother him to make him get in trouble. You acknowledge bad behavior and correct it..you praise good behavior to encourage them to do more of it.

  • Yes. He's so disrespectful. And the looks he gave you, mmm... not good al all. This guy in a dog park is a time bomb. A bad manner leads to another one, and another one, etc., if you do not step in and educate. Velocity is ready to bite the guy (it's funny how she always spit the stick every time he aproches her). When you have dogs, you know that nails must be cut from time to time because long nails causes the dog can't walk properly and that leads to health problems. It looks like Blondie and Liberty are not interested in Bishop. They ignore him. Midnight, the police woman ♥ As is told you on facebook, your pack is super stable and that is the result of your HARD WORK with them. Wonderful video!! I love to see the pack work. Big kisses for all the pack!!!!

I really like PitBulls, Cane Corsos, Dogo argentino or Presa Canario, but since I volunteered at an animal shelter as a dog walker for PitBulls and Staffs I know that I'm not capable to handle these kind of dogs. I love them, but I'm to soft and unsure. So I just looking from far and respecting the hell out of people like you.

  • I really, really hope Bishop's people wise up (not meant offensively) and start taking training and discipline more seriously. I have seen personally what happens when big, powerful dogs receive no structure or discipline, or even basic training. It's not pretty. Bishop is HUGE and, by all rights, still a puppy. They need to get on it and get on it now! Not just for their own good, but his own good. A dog of his size could cause some pretty serious harm to another dog, or heaven forbid, a human even without serious intent. In my eyes, there's no excuse for Bishop's issues, either behavioral or physical, when you so clearly are willing to help them and guide them. I genuinely don't mean any offense, I'm sure they do love Bishop, but sometimes love means being tough. I've had to learn that lesson myself with my Border Collie. And it has been a blessing for both him and me. I hope they figure things out the easy way, rather than the hard way! On another note, this is just another amazing example of you being a fantastic breeder and general dog person. Love that you do what you can to help out your dogs, even after they have gone on to new homes.

They need to have the understand that you do. People that own dogs discourage me from owning a dog especially since I live in the city and it's sidewalk game. • It always makes me happy running into a really hands-on person with this rich southern accent who lives in the middle of nowhere and then links studies in their KZhead videos. It is a splendid mixture of earthy and learned, sophisticated and real-world. You're so 'MAMA SAYS DOWN YOU GET DOWN, BOI" and you laugh, but at the same time you're monitoring them, you know the vocabulary and the biology and the exact shape the dog is supposed to have. The way you talk is frank, gutsy, blunt, and at the same time have all the terms, the technical vocab, the experience. I love it. And I especially love watching you work with Cashmere and Preacher, because they prove your method, they prove you know what you're doing, they prove they understand what you are trying to communicate to these other dogs. Sending love from the nerdy indoor city people from across the globe!

They are extremely powerful and CAN be dangerous given an improper owner. I am adopting a 1 1/2 yr old male this weekend. I pray I dont have far to go with him as I have 3 children. He is still a puppy so thays the most encouraging. Thank you for sharing. All of them are beautiful.

  • Holy crap, when Cashmere turned the first time to get him I spilled my tea as I was taking a drink because it scared the crap out of me. She is a tough cookie. Pregnant or not she will bring a fight and discipline. I would hate to see if Preacher actually tagged him for being disrespectful. I thought Midnight was getting big but when she came in the picture to back her mama up she looks so tiny next to Bishop. He is a beautiful dog and with the right training and continuation to keep backing it up he would be such a good boy. I don't know him personally but as an only pet he definitely doesn't get the discipline he needs as a Corso. Like you said, I truly hope he does not get taken to dog parks because 1. he would be the hated dog for being so dominant and 2. he definitely would give the breed a bad, bad name.

    • Senza Tempo Cane Corso that’s so frustrating because usually a dog that is disrespectful without proper training/correction will lash out like he did with you, especially with a new baby emotions will be higher, and it can cause the breed a bad name. I hope the owners see this videos and realize for the sake of Bishop and the new baby it’d be in their best interest to let you re-train the pup

      @brandielyn21@brandielyn215 жыл бұрын
    • Brandie Hamdan the frustration with having this dog stay and get trained and learn to be a respectful dog. Then going back to the owners can screw it all up by not continuing the training. Bishop has his family how he wants and they are kind of blind to it. There's not a lot of limitations and boundaries at his home and it shows.

      @brandielyn21@brandielyn215 жыл бұрын
    • Brandie Hamdan I agree. I think that there's really no bad dogs just bad or uneducated owners. But in Bishops case I think he's going to be just fine. You can tell he's a good dog, just wants to be top dog cause that's what he's use to. Kinda like the only child getting spoiled. Not bad just needs some manners. He has the potential of being just about perfect.

  • Best thumbnail pic lol My dad is the type of big dog owner that would also not put up with Bishop's attitude and personality. If Bishop was our dog and any disobedience he would show, dad would either give him hard training sessions or off to the pound, so glad you have the pack with you and you also know how to get him straight by yourself too without going Navy Seal sergeant mode. Shame for the owners for being lazy with Bishop. Big dogs need just as much training, sternness, good health, and watch as any other dog. They think because they are big they can rule over you until you show otherwise. Gotta watch out for that.
