Bollywood is an outdated industry. While other movies industries especially south films burnt their "woods", Hindu cinema is still sticking to it's hollywood copy of a "wood". Thats why South is far ahead of bootleg copywood(Bollywood). Until Bollywood becomes a "Hindi film industry", it will remain laughable. Movies like Jawan, Animal represents "Hindi film industry". Thats why they are doing so good.

Being a non Malayali, Lucifer Part 1 was the first Malayalam film I watched in theatre in 2019 after which I've developed an affinity for Malayalam cinema...and have been patiently waiting for L2: Empuraan since then... Hopefully it will be released this year end.

The makers have intentionally not revealed the villain in posters as they do not wish to reveal more about the villain and let the audience know about him when the film releases in theatres. But yes, I'd still agree with your point that at least in some posters they could have kept his poster wearing the mask.
