  • Watched this video about 4 times now, always entertaining seeing mice like these getting optimised pretty heavily. :) Any chance you could give us a bit more info on the replacement battery you used? I'd really like to try modding my X2V2 Mini to a similar extent.

  • No hate but in the 5:23 when u say pulsar could do that on the base, they dont do that cuz its risking the structure of the mouse and its not worth it, they want a mouse that if it fells from the desk it doesnt breaks into pieces, anyways good video like always!

    • I think the issue may be that the battery will be exposed if it's cut like that. There would need to be a battery bracket above the PCB to place it which would offset the weight lost from having a cut out at the bottom anyways. Pulsar used to have a design with cut outs on the bottom with their Xlite v1 models, and they had a battery bracket on top of the PCB, but that made the weight balancing really center-heavy. So, they covered the bottom holes and placed the battery back there on the Xlite v2 and future models. Having a battery exposed by a cut out at the bottom is a pretty big no no.

    • I feel like you could probably get another 4-5g off it before it became unusable.
