  • More on Edward Norton, the myth that he’s in general very difficult to work with is now widely believed to have originated because he repeatedly and vocally called out Harvey Weinsteins behavior towards Salma Hayek on the set of “Frida”. Salma Hayek was Edward Norton’s girlfriend at the time and so he constantly stood up for her and against Weinstein. In retaliation, Weinstein started the myth that he’s difficult to work with in order to silence him and ruin his career.

  • I believe the Russo Brothers have confirmed that the reason Thanos took so long to start his Infinity War crusade was because he didn't know the location of the soul stone. When he read nebula's memories after capturing her, that's when it began.

    • @@mickeyveach3612 that makes no sense though. Thanos didn’t know the location of the soul stone yet, he only knew gamora lied to him. He didn’t even know it because the endgame time travel is a different timeline. If they were the same timeline then Thanos would’ve began his mission in 2012 but apparently he started it in 2018 but then he would’ve started in 2012 anyways but then started in 2018…. See why that doesn’t work? Russo brothers also aren’t Kevin feige, they are just directors, not the boss who makes all decisions. Only plausible reason for Thanos not going forward with his mission was that he knew Odin and the ancient one were alive. If he didn’t care then why didn’t he lead his own army to earth instead of making Loki do it. Loki was a usable tool for him and he gave him the space stone so he wouldn’t have to deal with those 2 big powerful characters who would molly whop Thanos. If they weren’t a big deal, then Thanos could’ve “easily” used the space stone to take down the others and take the time stone off ancient one and get the reality stone through Odin and the bifrost. His mission would’ve been accomplished many years in advance if he was willing to fight Odin and ancient one

    • Honestly. My main gripe (at least with the modern MCU) is that it feels like no story can ever be self-contained anymore. Like. Say, for example, you wanna watch Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. You'd have to have watched wandavision, spider-man no way home or any other show/ movies that deal with the multiverse, or else half the story literally makes no sense because the movie expects you to know about all of the shit that happened in other media between characters you may not even care about. And it always feels like every movie needs to set up like 20 others during it's runtime. And yes. Cameos are cool, but it genuinely gets exhausting at times. Just like how not every movie needs to have a world ending threat (which is also a gripe I have with the newer ones), not every single movie or show needs to set up a 100 different moives or shows. You NEED to have smaller, more self-contained stories if you want the big ones to feel like they actually matter.

A couple of seasons later, Lin-Manuel Miranda appears in the show itself but not as himself, instead acting as Amy's brother. Not long after that, the character Terry Jeffords references the Disney film Moana, in which the vast majority of the music was written by... Lin-Manuel Miranada.

  • Probably will be outdated in a couple of months, but regarding Thanos: Titan Consumed at around 52:00, I've heard a theory that the reason why the novel is not canon to the MCU, despite the fact that the book was announced to be canon, was due to the fact that there would have been contradicting information regarding the Mind Stone, as in the novel, Thanos got the stone from a wizard, with people speculating that Eternals or a future project will have a different explanation for the former location of the Mind Stone. Just thought that was interesting to share, also, great video btw.

  • In 1:07:15 the Grim Reaper's helmet being under the floor along with bones is a reference to "The Vision", a great comic book that was a massive inspiration to the show. In that storyline, Vision's artificial wife, Virginia, accidentally kills the Reaper when he attacks her house, so she buries the body expecting that Vision will never find out

There is no avenger's campus in Florida and there won't be one due to copyright issues with Universal making a Marvel Comics Island at their park prior to Disney buying Marvel. They have a Guardians of the Galaxy ride being built at Epcot but that's it.

  • Some other random facts that I somehow know: * Wong was not supposed to appear in the MCU, as his character in the comics was viewed as a racial stereotype. Scott Derrickson only added him after the Tilda Swinton whitewashing controversy (35:05) * Grandmaster appeared in the credits of GOTG 2 * Before appearing in Luke Cage, Tilda Johnson was supposed to be Killmonger's girlfriend in Black Panther. * Other actors who auditioned for Captain America were Chris Pratt, Wyatt Russel, Ryan Phillippe, Will Smith, and John Krasinski * James Gunn wanted to make a Thunderbolts movie * Peter's suitcase in Far From Home belonged to Uncle Ben * As Kang the Conquerer is a descendant of Reed Richards, there is a chance that Mr. Fantastic will be played by a black actor. * Kraglin was filmed in the final battle of Avengers: Endgame * Aside from Stan Lee, other comic book writers made cameos in the MCU as well. These include Joe Michael Straczynski and Walt Simonson (Thor), Jim Starlin (Avengers: Endgame), and Ed Brubaker (Captain America: The Winter Soldier)
