    • Yup....that's exactly what I was thinking. Who walks out to a boxing match high fiving and hugging spectators? He did everything but take his gloves off to take a selfie. If you want the theatrical entrance (funny that the rising stage malfunctioned and only went up about 6 inches before stopping), fine. But the smiling and high fiving reminded me of the Creed entrance against Ivan Drago.

    • That's it, Joshua wanted to box from round 1. He didn't care to bring the "Old AJ" back for this fight otherwise he would have been following up on those rights when they landed and bothered Usyk. Just my perspective of course.

      @Eddybo22@Eddybo222 жыл бұрын
    • @@Eddybo22 Also, old AJ gassed. You can't gas at this level and get away with it. He would've got stopped 100%. Also, I think old AJ, pre-Ruiz 1 held a shot better. The shots he swallowed from Klitschko were madness. I know he went over on one of em, but he took some monsters. Now he looks a bit suspect as soon as he gets clipped. Equilibrium is fucked I think. Permanent damage.

      @matthewstephens6848@matthewstephens68482 жыл бұрын
    • @@matthewstephens6848 You are right AJ did gas fairly quickly and against Usyk that would just play within his hands. I don't think there is permanent damage. He just needed to refine his skills and he has become a better all round fighter. He has actually done that. I think he really just wanted to see how far he has come as a boxer rather than a brawler or brute force. I think he will bring the aggressive manner again in the rematch and put his all into it. Of course the rematch will have to show this and only then will I say he has been permanently affected if he loses again.

  • I'm a pretty big AJ fan but man did he get schooled. AJ won only 2-3 rounds of the fight & got completely out-boxed and dominated the rest, and it isn't like the Ruiz fight where you could argue Ruiz just caught him with a shot AJ didn't recover from, and then AJ out-boxed him in the rematch. I think AJ just isn't at Usyks level of boxing IQ at all.

    @nathanhorsey25@nathanhorsey252 жыл бұрын
    • Nope but you can't say AJ didn't try. He really wanted to outbox Usyk but that was never going to happen.

      @Eddybo22@Eddybo222 жыл бұрын
    • I think he completely went the wrong style and tactics. They tried to play the usyk way when hes the best at it, why try it yourself?? I think the team needs evolving or chop it all and get fresh new team, also I believe bellew is a good pal of AJ and kight have said to him how you got to box, and 'be clever'. I think aj best fights are when hes all out fighting, yes he has some techniques but hes not the best at boxing. What usyk best beneficiary was that he is came from cruiserweight and almost moves as quick as a featherweight. So essentially, he was a heavyweight with featherweight movement and footwork. AJ body isnt capable of 12 rounds fast footwork, especially against usyk. I would have made AJ beef up and tell him do real damage in 3 to 4 rounds. The only defence was hold ur hands up protect the face as aj was getting hit easy there, forget the footwork and playing usyks game.

      @amajeet@amajeet2 жыл бұрын
    • @@Eddybo22 then why you say nope and then support my theory?

      @amajeet@amajeet2 жыл бұрын
    • @@amajeet when I said Nope it was actually to agree with you in terms of what happened versus Ruiz Jr and his IQ not being on Usyk's level as well as his strategy for the fight. For Ruiz Jr, had he not rushed in, and dealt with him like he did Pulev, or even like he did in the second fight, we wouldn't even be in this position right now. But lessons learned. It certainly was unfortunate that he took that strategy despite everyone under the sun knowing what he should have and could have done, but I think he did so for three reasons 1. He had the rematch in his back pocket 2. He really wanted to test his boxing skills against Usyk and 3. As deluded as it might be he really felt he could beat Usyk at his own game. Hence why I said he tried. AJ despite his limited fight history is still rounding into form and he is a better fighter than most heavyweight fighters. Sure he still needs to work on alot but he is a great fighter who once he pieces everything together will be even better.

      @Eddybo22@Eddybo222 жыл бұрын
    • @@amajeet I agree with you there 💯 for him to survive a full 12 round fight (despite what everyone says about Joshua almost getting knocked out in the 12th that was never close to happening as Usyk was missing quite a few of those punches and Joshua was still aware) speaks volumes for sure. It was an experience he wanted and now he has that. He can only improve from this point on.

    • The ONLY person who have the authority to throw the towel in and stop the fight would be ONLY Rob McCracken and that's ALL! You need to throw it in, not wave it! The fight ended 2.5 seconds early! Time it is did from bell to bell and I watched it and timed it with my stopwatch 6 times! Usyk wasn't even connecting while AJ was on the ropes moving, also Usyk stopped fighting 3-4 seconds before the bell! Usyk was told by his corner to NOT go for the KO! Go to Sporting Icons channels, he did a live today and it's at the beginning of the video! He debunks both of these FALSE narratives!🥊

Wilder kicked Breland out for justifiably doing that. AJ needs a new team of seasoned pro's in the corner not fucking yes men who wanna quit the moment he's in trouble.

  • Beautiful shots from Aj Usyk fight, the only thing that the editor left out was the baptising of Usyk from his cornerman eachtime he went to his corner at the end of round. That would've been the icing on the cake, especially if caught on slow motion, dam such a shame, but otherwise beautiful details captured all around.

Eye of the Tiger, not Eye of the Kitten. Usyk on the other hand came in as a pure Predator. Nice before but you could sense the storm beneath. Once in the Ring he unleashed everything and was on the hunt. What a difference. Respect to both Man.
