Florian Lipowitz is undoubtedly the anti-Tadej Pogacar for the Giro d'Italia 2024. After an absolutely hilarious Tour de Romandie 2024 of the Red Bull Bora team of Primoz Roglic, Jai Hindley or Alexander Vlasov, the main monster of the German team is this until recently unknown climber. Pogacar is already scared because competition has come to him. It's neither Tour de Romandie 2024 winner Carlos Rodriguez, nor Richard Carapaz today, nor even Jonas Vingegaard. He is the new monster of Primoz Roglic.

was an ex sports journo, who came from cycling to triathlon. You think cycling is bad? Triathlon has been winging it for years in both short course and long course. I wrote an article on it in 2018 that never got published because what was contained within it was pretty damning, esp to a cheating Swiss who stole 2 olympic medals (Gold and Silver)and if she'd not had a mishap in Tokyo would have stolen another, all at the age of 38.

@tonycrabtree3416 You ever ridden the boards? 4000 meters is 4000 mtrs. Computer technology doesn't make a rider go faster. Hard work, " supplements " and money mate. Armstrong wasn't a 100 years ago.. seen cheating before we'll see it again. It's all just a little bit of history repeating itself.
@@tonybalzan3160 Technology most definitely helps. What are you talking about? There’s a reason rollers were invented. Being able to simulate climbing is a huge leap forward. That’s part of the “had work”.

I for one was glued to the carpet in the teli room decades ago when as a youngster, not fully understanding TV commentary about what came to backstage plays, substances, alleged allegations of and to do with them doctors of the sportsmen in the big tours. I naively thought only the sportsmen from my country doped with the west riding clean. How wrong was I? Also, could I give each of my children the middle names of "Always Clean"? Should , say one decide to pursue a Pro-Sports Career, thus giving the option of a leg up . Immagine: " Forth, you shall address me by my middle name Always Clean".
