  • I nearly had a heart attack watching you cut such an expensive tent but like you said to another comment, be respectful. Camping is totally up to how someone chooses to enjoy it and is a personal choice. You make it your own. Although I jump around various videos of youtubers, I enjoy watching different ways people enjoy the outdoors and that everyone is safe. It is unfortunate Korean law prohibits nature camping. I was wondering why I always saw graveled sites. Love your videos and your aesthetic choices! Great job!

    • Okay for some who camp regularly, cutting the floor can be necessary for multiple reasons. Keep in mind some tents come with cutouts for heating sources. This option lessens the risk of a fire and burning the whole tent down. I watched in another video of seasoned campers who lit their expensive tent on fire and had to cut away a good bit of their tent from the back wall to most the floor. Our kitchens aren’t carpeted for a reason. This also is reasonable for preparing meals and reducing clean up of spills of food and cleaning dishes, to even creating a mud room when coming in from the rain. The company needs to consider creating an option as many companies including bell tent manufacturers who are now giving the option for a zip out. Could the bottom be save and an option sewn on to re-add it, sure? However there is a valid and reasonable explanation for his decision.

  • 텐트 밑 바닥 부분을 자른다고 이해를 못하는 사람도 있는데 솔직히 옷 처럼 내가 똑같은 디자인에 똑같은 색상 옷이 원하던 기장이 아니면 리폼해서 입듯이 자기만의 만족 리폼이라 생각합니다 솔직히 내돈 내산 인것을 누가 뭐라고 할까요? 정답은 정 그렇게 불편하다면 안보면 그만임ㅋㅋ;;

  • The snow and scenery is absolutely gorgeous! However, I fail to see why you have such huge tent(s) for just one person. It is such a huge area to heat, could've been more warm and cozy with just one of the tents, instead of 4 of them. What prompted you to get 4 tents??? I'm very curious. You have all of the Stanley drink products, including some that I have never seen before--can you tell me what that is at 7 min, 35 seconds on the far left? It kind of looks like a pitcher?   • Wow! Great set up. That pellet stove is an interesting addition. Is it better than wood stoves? What about the price point? Cheaper or more expensive than wood stoves. The pellets, I imagine would be more expensive than logs/wood.

  • Honestly I can see why you cut the tent once it's dry and meted there is very little clean up within the tent itself makes alot of sense with type of equipment use the floored side for sitting comfortably and sleeping.. Other places that have grass sorta need that layer to prevent other nonsense from coming in but with the asphalt set up let it melt set your chair like you driveway... I'm in Canada by the way..   • I have many camping videos with tents with floors that use stoves. They seem to do fine. For me personally, if I was physically fit and going to camp with a blow up tent, I would want the floor attached to the tent, and then the special mat used under the stove. Reason: I just personally do not like walking around on the ground inside the tent, it brings in bugs and other junk I just do not want. If I am going to be inside the tent, because of inclement weather, I want to be comfortable in slippers and socks and not walking on wet ground, grass, snow and stuff like that. My feet hate shoes, and as soon as I get home, I kick them off. As a child we went camping in both types of tents, and I hated the tent we had which had no floor, we had spiders, snakes, and bugs of all types, had to be careful what crawled into our sleeping bags, NO thanks. HUGE difference using a tent with a attached floor. BUGS pretty much 99 percent of the time STAY OUT. STill checked our bags, but never found surprises. NEVER found surprises in our shoes either. YES, I kind of grimmaced at the cutting out of the floor, but hey that is YOUR choice, your camping tent, and you are free to do as you please. Have fun!!
