Sonic 1 Retold: Labyrinth Zone (Sprite Animation)

Sonic has now fallen into an ancient labyrinth beneath the jungle and Dr Robotnik has taken all of his emeralds in the process! Sonic must now find a way out to chase him down and take his emeralds back!

  • Finally! I think you found the way how a 3D sonic should be created, just a mix of 3D with 2d sprites, I’m totally sure a game like that would be a total success. In the 90s they forced sonic to 3D platform to compite with the 3d games of this years because it was something new, but they lose the magic art of sonic sprites, nobody remember sonic by his boring 3D games. Your animation embody all concepts of the 2d games, great work, I hope to see the same for sonic 3

  • It would be awsome if the team behind sonic mania reimagined the classics. Like if they expanded the levels and added new gimmicks and just maniafy the whole thing. Sadly though, they were forced to make sonic origins with sega. And now they don't want to do sonic stuff anymore.

Elas além de fazerem uma homenagem as fases dos jogos do Mega Drive, elas também possuem elementos de outras fases ( algumas delas ). A Splash Hill, por exemplo, é uma referência à Green Hill Zone de Sonic 1, com elementos da Emerald Hill de Sonic 2.

Cara, olha pra emerald Hill, é uma ilha quadriculada com um mar e ilhas no fundo e pontes. Splash hill: A MESMA COISA. E para com esse papo de "homenagem", homenagem foi a Green Hill do Mania, fazendo partes em cavernas, e usando outras mecânicas e usando um fundo deletado do original. ISSO é uma homenagem, não uma cópia barata com uma iluminação estourada como a Splash Hill.

  • If you ever make Sonic 2 Retold. I’m interested on how you will tie everything together. I think you should add the Genesis, Mastersystem, and the Scrapped zones all in one place. Idk how you are going to tie Master system and genesis since they have different plots. You could have Master system version take place first, then have Genesis and scrapped zones take place right after similar to Sonic 3K
