  • Jay: For those of us who've only joined the Other Watchers in the last few months, could you (pretty please) do a *[CALM]* tutorial on the different patterns? Show us what makes a Sunfire or a Golden Child or a Mocchato. It'd be *_really_* nice if you have straight-up examples - like one that's _only_ Platinum or Golden Child or whatever. And since i'm being *_so_* demanding: It'd really be nice if you'd list the vid where you pulled the eggs in the description, so we can go back & see the dam. In the meantime: Thanks for educating the masses & especially your guest junior zoo-keeper! Keep living the Dream!

    • What can help is looking on MorphMarket and trying to see what the individual genes are. There are some information in the past clips but they don't go into what genes do what. MorphMarket is the best to help you ID along with Jay and other snake breeders. Sometimes they may not have put the clip up of them pulling the eggs either.

I live in the country so we have plenty of snake's but I avoid them. Jay your motto is what my dad alway's told me if you can't say nothing nice don't say anything at all, I really try my best to be like that and alway's be kind. It really work's out pretty well for me.

  • It would be really cool if you could make a sheet of what dominate or recessive traits the parents have and then make an allele chart with all the probabilities and what each trait actually looks like. It would really help the experience of the viewers and help reinforce your excitement. This would also help give a great example of genetics with proper terms to help the younger viewers.

    • Its definitely not the best. It drives me nuts.

      @kats.5958@kats.59583 жыл бұрын
    • He really shouldn't be doing that, you're right about that. Cutting is fine to give them a bit of help to pip, but PULLING THEM OUT is definitely the worst thing...I watch Snake Discovery a lot and she always explains why you SHOULD NOT do this for baby snakes since even when they first pip they're still developing. Makes me wonder if the snakes he produces live long lives or not...poor things.

      @FrogadierGeneral@FrogadierGeneral3 жыл бұрын
    • Omg, yes. He shouldn’t be doing that. It can cause harm and stress to the animals. Him pulling them out could mess with their body since they’re new born. It can also cause them so much stress with him taking them out of the egg. He should honestly know this for being an “expert”. I know I may be sounding rude but his videos are genuinely disturbing to me. He acts out of line as a child would and he teases the animals to get their food.

      @AmandaTrips@AmandaTrips3 жыл бұрын
    • @@AmandaTrips have you see the video where he's cutting open eggs and one of them is dead, but it's all deformed. And hes like "WOAH LOOK AT THIS FREAK OF NATURE!!!" It was so gross and in horrible taste. Poor little baby didnt make it and he's acting like a little boy watching star wars for the first time. He was going on and on about it. I think it was the main topic of that entire video. Zero respect.

      @kats.5958@kats.59583 жыл бұрын
    • That’s just so sad 🥺 And if you were wondering why I said “Omg, yes” I was agreeing with the other reply. He causes so much harm to them even if it doesn’t look like that and some of these people are thinking it’s actually good because they don’t understand what he’s doing is wrong, such as the child doesn’t know it’s wrong. I genuinely don’t think he should have any jobs dealing with animals, possibly even children.

    • @@AmandaTrips bruh. The snakes were already ready to come out. They can drown in their own eggs. It happens in the while. There's nothing wrong with cutting and pulling them out. If anything it's safer that way.

      @zerodividezero9843@zerodividezero98432 жыл бұрын
    • @@zerodividezero9843 um, no it’s not actually. Yes, they can drown but that’s why you open up a small part of the egg so they can come out naturally. Him pulling them out can cause them to have defects. Maybe go watch some Snake Discovery, she’s a lot better with teaching things.
