People go broke just to have the biggest most fanciest wedding all because they want to outdo each other. The commitment the husband and wife share is the most important thing.     • A gown like that will weigh an awful lot, probably 200 pounds or more, the fabric alone, plus the many thousands of crystals , pearls and diamanté all hand sewn on and there’s quite a long train and even the veil which is a cathedral length has embroidery and diamanté stitched to it, it all adds to the weight.
