I think Isengard is the best looking army with their heavy armour, pikes, crossbows, swords and shields that just look so amazing!

the dwarves for me the best looking faction in the whole world of middle earth {if you saw the hobbit movies you would know} but eyy that is kjust my personal thoughts
I Got to love the elves. Their skills in archery is just epic.
For me the best armors are : Isengard, Gondor, Dwarves, Rhûn and Imladris Elves x)

The depth of field addition makes it look like there's a bunch of toy soldiers fighting and you're just one giant guy watching. Awesome!

I eventually unsubscribed cause I had a change in lifestyle and wasnt on KZhead nearly as much, but I started getting back into this genre of KZhead. I love Gondor, the soldiers have such an imperial look to them. Absolutely perfect Armour, if I were a king I would definitely model my troops after these guys.

LOTR is one of the best movies that will have ever been made. When our society is dead and there is a new breed on earth or whatever, they will have LOTR movies and books in their museums haha. The hobbit shall not be mentioned (movies at least). Also I miss playing those old RTS games back in the day, they were superb. (please do more of these videos, this was actually great to watch) MEN OF GONDOR! FIGHT!

I'd love to see some Isengard. The preview of them on the modpage looks fantastic and I just love everything about their style. The brutalistic swords, the broad black shields, and the thousands of ugly pikes sticking up above the hordes.

This could possibly be an adaptation of the battle of Peligir. Which was a Gondorian costal city to the south of Minas Tirith. I don't know exactly how that battle played out but I do feel like it happened around the time that minas Tirith was under siege. But overall awesome battle. It does make me want to replay my campaigns in third age total war which was a mod for medieval two total war. God it was so much fun. I hope the developers of this mod can make a good campaign map along with more factions and some of the iconic city's and forts from middle earth.

That Gondorian militia unit was actually pretty aggressively holding it's own against far better trained soldiers.

I think that Gondor looks the best. White gleaming steel plate armor, with the white tree cresent. Then them charging w/ swords and the shields, (also white tree) The spears look pretty cool too!

10:44 poke... "right I'm done. Thanks m8" There's that "fight animations" they so proudly cherish... Had it been an older engine, that Gondorian was going to get stabbed in the back.... You know... they could quite easily fix the balance of the animations, by animating 2v1 2v2 and 3v1 fights with guys in different orientations. Eg 2 infront, 1 behind or 1 infront and 1 behind etc... it would drastically improve outnumbered units fighting. Okay it might not be a "perfect fix" but it would be a big improvement none the less...
The battle here reminds me of a battle in an old Xbox medieval game where one of the main enemy forces was made up of just women. I forgot the name though, but I remember enjoying the hell out of it.
Idk if I would say Gondor is my favorite... Honestly there are 4 other factions that are just so amazing I really love them all!... Rhun / Rohan / Isengard / Any Elven faction!

Silvan Elves are probably the coolest guys imo, Rohans Rohirrim is also quite kewl.
It looks great but you also managed to do a great job casting, showing the important stuff, slowing down for a close up. I like the way you cast. If anything, just turn DOF on when focused close quarters, DOF off when far away from battle.
It was funny how that dude got kicked in the nuts I was watching that and when you called it out it was so funny

The unit detail
I like Rhun the most, but mostly for their golden armour dragon units. Gondor has the coolest overall armor for their average infantryman, and they have rangers!
You Could say this was the siege of Cair andros which was a city on the anduin and was Besieged by Mordor and Rhunic Forces during the siege of minas tirith.
That Depth of Field mod makes it look more like a game, which is not a bad thing.
