I agree with you, what she did was very risky. After what I learned about North Korea and after watching videos, they are not to be messed with. They have no problem messing you up, throwing you in jail, and even killing you without a moments hesitation. She was way too aggressive and should have respected their wishes regardless of how ridiculous and controlling the North Korean government may be.

I've worked press events before -- you do NOT force your way through security whilst basically screaming, "Don't worry, we've got badges so you don't have to check us," especially in a foreign country at a meeting between heads of state -- that is a great way to become popular with the security team. Also I love how plenty of other crews were already set up and quietly doing their job as this pack of fools that forgot to set their alarm clocks comes barging in making a ruckus.

@@benchohra2610 I agree that the reporter was being very arrogant and rude. North Koreans have no problems throwing you in jail for just about any reason they feel like and her actions were very risky and could have caused problems.
As a brit who lived as an expat in Asia. If I commited a crime I would go to Asian prison and the British embassy would give me vitamin tablets in Asian prison. If your American the American embassy flys you home after you do 50% of your time in Asia. So Americans are more entitled to break rules abroad because their embassy cares about them. While the British embassy throws you under the bus.

No, that only means the British government understands that its citizens are not above other human beings, and would have to pay for their crimes if they do commit crimes in other countries. Americans just bully their way through everything, just like that disgraceful and rude lady in the video.
