While ZipRecruiter is seeing annual salaries as high as $201,000 and as low as $49,500, the majority of Air Force One Pilot salaries currently range between $100,000 (25th percentile) to $155,000 (75th percentile) with top earners (90th percentile) making $175,000 annually across the United States. Air Force One can refuel in mid-air It has a max speed of 630 miles per hour (Mach 0.92) and can fly up to 45,100 feet. While it has a range of 7,800 statute miles, Air Force One can be refueled in-air in case of emergency, although it isn't thought to have done so yet with a US president on board. Air Force One has a stop speed of 600 miles per hour, close to the speed of sound. It can also reach a maximum altitude of 45,100 feet, with is about 10,000 feet higher than the average Boeing 747. The next generation of Air Force One aircraft are scheduled to arrive in 2024. The onboard electronics are hardened to protect against an electromagnetic pulse, and Air Force One is equipped with advanced secure communications equipment, allowing the aircraft to function as a mobile command center in the event of an attack on the United States. Air Force One is not routinely escorted by fighter jets while it is flying. Yes, it is closely monitored by Air Traffic Control and by the US military (through NORAD) during its flight, but it does not routinely receive fighter escort, especially over the continental United States.

  • Theres a difference on this VC-25A Firstly this aircraft has a four Pratt & Whitney JT9D engines and 2nd it has a rotating beacon light. Compared to the real VC-25 that has four GE CF6 engines and flashing beackon light

  • 1:25 When a plane lands on a runway, airliners have a thing called Reverse Thrust and Spoilers, I like the detail where they have used the flaps but to slow an aircraft down, they usually use the Spoilers, the brakes and the reverse thrust when landing an Aircraft. (I might be wrong because I haven't watched the movie)
