Perhaps try building from the bottom up. I get y'all are learning, but dear lord lol Edit: Also enabling the grid whenever you build can help out a ton, so you're not blindly building. Build 2x2 grids normally and for heavy weapons like lasers and cannons, 2.5 hight. You can also cross brace your structures to allow yourself to build higher and add stability. Instead of having [/] you can have [X] (hopefully that picture helps). Remember, when crossbracing and expanding, build from the bottom up. If you don't, then you'll add unnecessary weight and tilt your base backwards
