By the way there are many variations on dances and music depending sometimes to regional, country and etc., plus I believe it says: Hustle Fever Night. Not being there they might be learn different dances associated to the Hustle. Learn to enjoy life and have fun stop worrying about the little things.
Well, those days are long gone unfortunately sweetie and it seems they won't be coming back anytime soon. It's sad but the unfortunate reality we live in.
Liked this tutorial thanks
Sensacional ao reconhecimento do legado de Van McCoy 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
We didn't do the "Saturday Night Fever- John Travolta" hustle. The movement with the arms is hilarious. Check out old clips of Soul Train to see how to hustle.
That is because this song came out two years before the movie. This is some hybrid version of the original dance and the movie dance. The arm stuff was definitely not in the original dance. I've only been able to find one video that has the original dance.
Folks, take a look at the official music video of the Van McCoy song, the Hustle. There you will see the dance that went with the song. Several versions, but all with 2 people as partners, not a line dance
When we danced in school, it was a line dance.
Maan i got duh feeva!!!
i have a question, theres kind of a version of this for country and then theres another one version that everybody knows in the us and does it like in weddings and parties, what is that one called?
Electric slide
In my childhood I only learned the cupid shuffle the electric slide and the cha cha slide never the hussle 😔💔
Love you all
I wished they showed more of the guy under the disco ball
Nah! you mean the guy with the white shirt and tie!
I think you left out the step/ ball change and the “skate” …this is the Saturday Night Fever. Dance!
It's official I will watch ANYTHING
Good one :)
Join the club.
This dance was very popular in the 1970's.
This was in Saturday Night Fever. It is NOT the original dance called the Hustle! As someone suggested, watch some old episodes of Soul Train to see how to do the Hustle. It's done with a partner, not a line dance!
The Time Warp?
For about the first half of this video, the guy on the far left looks a lot like Victor Arroyo from Big Brother 18... Nicole's guy and partner on this years Amazing Race.
Saturday night 🌃 the purchased of New York .
Sad but I would b the lady in the green pants and how did I even end up here🤣🤣
Which song is this? Can someone help me with this track please?
Van McCoy - The Hustle from 1975
The lady in the green pants we’ve all been there sweetie. 👍
Reminds me of Middle School when the class did the Macarena and I kept messing up while everyone else was on beat and on step.
@@varietygameplayandmore8189 awww
There was one part she forgot to explain that in 2 parts of the song you have to do the walk back and walk forward twice
Yep, it's the only way to get the 3 steps back to start with the right part of the song.
🕺💃🕺💃🕺💃
LOL WHATS THIS MY SCHOOL WHATS THIS LIT SAVAGE DAB
can't imagine doing this in platform heels on a slick floor ha ha
The only way to do it
How to twist your ankle in two easy steps.
Bus Stop...?
To nowyet silentdust...2 years ago. Yeah, you can. If I can, you can, because I have 2 left feet!
Weird. I don't know if she made up this version, but it doesn't look right. But they were having fun so well done.
oooh my God, I am in love with that woman in the brown dress and black pantys and her long beauitiful long brown hair. She is a gift from heaven with her constantly sweet smile. Who is she ??????
So "The Hustle" was the predecessor to "Caballo del rodeo"? Hmmm the more you know i guess.
Oh! you guys are doing THE BUSSTOP, not The Hustle. Sorry if you were confused by your Gym Teachers and by the SNF movie with Travolta.... smh...
We had to learn this in dance class in the seventh grade. We did much better than these adults are doing...of course, , most of us knew it from the movie long before dance class
If you're really cool you'll click your heels together during the chicken wings.
The lorax mom
man the heckler needs a smak
No kidding. What a jerk.
This got me praying to the gods for a new trans-am.
So where is the song THE HUSTLE

HAHAHA
The hassle it's fun good way exercise Megan Wilsonim 43 years Jayson webber
still can not figure out how girls dance in heels
Sequence is not the same as in the movie. After the 360 vine, kick ball change, skate, disco point, roll hands, chicken, etc. .....watch the movie again. You missed the kick ball change and skate. Maybe that's how you do this in California. The rest of the moves are great!
That isn't the hustle we learned in the 70s
Good job guys but hate breaking it to you -it ain't the Hustle.
bigkozlov Apparently, there were several different dances back then that were named "The Hustle". One of them was a line dance, like this, and another was a couples dance.
Are you serious why can't I find the hustle
This is The Brooklyn Shuffle not The Hustle. 🤔
Poor young lady in the green pants- this is not her thing
That's not the Hustle. It's a really bad version of the Brooklyn Shuffle (see Saturday Night Fever)
The Hustle was being danced for two years before Saturday Night Fever came out. So, to me, this is not the true dance for The Hustle. It never had that stupid Travolta move.
Whos granny is this .get her.
Still not the same hustle i learned in the 80s.
@Alain Quartermaine yes.i did more singing in the 70s.more dancing in the 80s.
