Manchester United has long been one of the most sought after pieces of football real estate. Shortly before the Glazers took over in 2005 a middle eastern dictator by the name of Colonel Muammar “Mad Dog” Gaddafi came very close to purchasing United.
This is the story of Gaddafi’s failed attempt to take control of Manchester United, the motivation behind it, and his son’s passion for the game.

This when Leicester is in the top six of course. And disregarding that Israeli-Russian oil mogul. Football looking like a War tablegame in England.

Unfortunately among them, there are extremists like Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and the rest, all of whom Gaddafi was against and didnt agree with their view. There are extremists in all religions. Just like in christianity there are the KKK, ARMY OF GOD, e.t.c. While in BUDDHISM, there are BODU BALA SENA, BUDDHIST POWER FORCE, E.T.C. They exist in most religions, and not just Islam. But because the west and most european countries are so ANTI ISLAM, they never talk about the others. Only Muslims. And no, Gaddafi wasn't a monster. • EA FIFA 05 stats for 31 year old Al Saadi Gheddafi: overall/potential 75/84. Pretty good! For example, Liverpool legends, 24 year old Dirk Kuyt and 23 year old Peter Crouch, were rated 67/82 and 70/83, and some more established players, such as, Cristiano Zanetti and Hasan Salihamidzic had ratings of 70/86 and 76/85.

  • @4:30 truth. It’s that simple. It’s a game that does a grand job of making a lot of people inactive in all other activities especially politics.

    @JohnKobaRuddy@JohnKobaRuddy3 жыл бұрын
    • It really isn't but even if it was, I admire football's admittance in that it is in fact a game. Politics generally doesnt seem to do that even though it absolutely is a game. As someone who follows the complexities of both, Gaddafi is far from the truth tbh.

  • As a libyan you My Sir did your homework quite well and everything that's been told is true Coach Bashir Al Ryani was brutally killed and then mauled by His Dog. Thing's that you forgot to mention was when Gaddafi and his kids ordered the Army to spray bullets at fans at Tripoli's sports city during the match between the al-Ittihad and al-Ahly's teams,'' 1996 where their was 80 thousand spectators watching libyas Darby. In 1984 Gaddafi stop Al-Ahly from travelling to Egypt to play the final of Africa's Cups winner's cup against Al-Ahy of Egypt in 1990 the libyan notional team were in course doing well in qualifying for Italy world cup the game was against Algeria 70 thousand tickets were sold for this game only for Gaddafi to declare the withdrawal of the libyan national team a to hand the win to the Algerian team. My personal experience was with Gaddafi so i had a friend of mine visit me in Manchester to try for trails in England he had two successful trials with Oldham Athletic and Middlesbrough when use got to Libya Gaddafi's son Alsady sent his bodyguards at the middle of the night to his family home Asking the parents of where abouts of their son and that they heard that he was in England trying to find a club and demanded my friend to call Al Sady where Ordered him to collect his belongings and come straight back to Libya where he rotted at Al-Ahlys bench never to play professional football. So yeah these are a few things that Gaddafi did to Libyan football
