    • Dude no. You got the art of war wrong. The art of war is winning without fighting. You never read the book if you think it's just victory. The art of war talks of capturing armys whole. It's better not destroy a country.

  • I absolutely love Sandhagen win or lose, that quote "Aljo had to retreat, TJ's Village is still on fire and now I am one of the guys who can take the land" is underrated.

    @meatmanmagoo@meatmanmagoo Жыл бұрын
    • "Aljo had to retreat" meaning Aljo took the easy way out with the Knee and holding up the division. "TJ's Village is still on fire" meaning Cory's "Attack" on TJ still has lingering damage. And for the last part I think it's the most straight forward meaning he's the only warrior who is worthy of the battle still standing. I could have completely butchered it but that's what I take from it

The 50-45 of Chito really shows that, almost everyone (even Cory fans) were worried for him in that fight. The fact that it was split, because of some beef the judge who scored it for chito had with Cory, is despicable. If that isn't proof of bias in judging, idk what is.

  • I guess you could say I had the same experience, when I was younger I always being bullied by people but I never liked the thought of beating up another parents child. One day I was playing at a playground with my grandpa and a group of kids way older than me started messing with me, then it turned into a full beat down, they had me on the floor stomping, punching, kicking my head and body all over, I cried begging them to stop, they didn’t care, finally my grandpa came to get them away from me after my twin noticed I was getting beat up badly, one of the kids snuck behind my grandpa, I told him to watch out but it was too late, he took his hat and hit him twice on the top of his head giving him two very big lumps, I didn’t expect them to hit an elderly man but they did and I’m over here bleeding scared for his and my life but thankfully that’s the only time they hit him, (my twin had ran away when they tried to go after him and they couldn’t catch him) since he couldn’t do nothing so I took his phone and called the police, they all ran away but ever since that happened its like something in me awakened, I started fighting back but not just to win, I basically had that “I’m gonna kill him mindset” because every time I fight I just get flashbacks and I just go into kill mode.

    • Thats why you always have to think more about your safety than your opponents well being. I also had issues in life where I just simply refused to turn the switch on from docile and caring even for my opponent to absulte carnage where I wouldnt even think of stopping.

  • The interesting thing on this video was that Conor had brilliant psychological warfare at the start of his career. But terrible since he was humbled several times. I suspect because he didn’t believe it himself, and you could see it. Feel it. But with Cory, he has gone the other way. He believes in his mindset and it’s immediately noticeable.

    @Elhesh@Elhesh Жыл бұрын
    • He’s trying to recreate what happened because it’s not who he is. Conner wants to be chael or Ali with the trash talk but it just became cringy and hard to listen too

    • Humbled several times? He was robbed against Dillashaw lol he looked like he got hit by a truck. He lost to Aljo and Yan and that's it. He was only 27 when he got that first lost to Aljo. He's entering his prime and honestly those loses are important.

  • Cory is a cage fighter. He needs a crazy man's mindset or he'll lose every time he goes into the octagon. In this era of MMA, everyone has to talk a little shit and sound a bit looney thanks to Conor McNuggets. It's how they sell their fights.

      @lemonhead1442@lemonhead1442 Жыл бұрын
    • @Lemon Head it means that there is an false, outward appearance of safety in today's society. But it is just that, a facade. "Civilized" westerners would go back to rap*ng and pillaging within a week of collapse. Most people would be on the receiving end of this violence and suffering. Many of these same people that would be nothing more than victims if it were to happen tomorrow, will never address the elephant in the room because they are comfortable and *temporarily* removed from the suffering. Social media only compounds this head in the sand approach to the worlds very dark and very real problems. All that to say, not everyone thinks this way, and not everyone should. Ignorance is bliss until you're being beaten to death in the street in front of your family.
