I opened up a box yesterday and pulled the Sylveon alternate art so this set is great so far
The Applin line (Appletun and Flapple) are based on “worm in an apple” trope and the fact that dragons are also called “wyrms” which is pronounced the same as “worms” so the joke is a “wyrm in an apple.” Applin is the apple but the worm/wyrm itself

I didn't really know a lot of the newer pokemon either. But my brother's and my nephew got me playing sword and shield on the switch and you learn a lot pretty quick lol. We opened 2 booster boxes last night and I'm satisfied with what we pulled. Looking forward to your reactions man.

Regidraco and regielecki are two new Regis from the crowntundra aka sword and shield dlc. They are insanely cool and only one or the other can be caught in game. The other can only be obtained in game through trading. Also i love this set labdowkbd
