This scene is literally in every batman movie and video game, nothing special 🙂
@@momorgan4703 yeah but not in the same way or with the same effect. This movie really characterized Batman as pure fear in criminals’ eyes. The scene also kept prolonging Batman’s arrival making it even more thrilling and intense. Of course, the music was also incredible and really complimented the visuals.
It's funny how Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman and Michael Giacchino have all done themes for both Batman and Spider-Man... and they're all awesome!

The criminals at the beginning being scared of literally nothing is one of the most iconic Batman scenes of all time.
Not just that, The Batman is a 10/10 MASTERPIECE of a film! Phenomenal movie and one of, if not THE BEST batman film of all time! I can’t wait for more!
100%. The build up was so impactful. The man at the train station ask Batman to please not hurt him was also great. It just added to the point that Batman is nothing but a vigilante at this point and he doesn’t care about being a hero. He just wants to beat up criminals. Frickin awesome
And yet so memeable the potentials really there 😂🤣

The legacy of never having a bad Batman theme lives on.
From Elfman's iconic them to Zimmer's scores in both TDK and BVS and now this.......just awesome.
even the video games too. Arkham origins and Arkham city theme sound phenomenal
Elfman, Walker, Goldenthal, Zimmer, Holkenborg, Giacchino. The legacy never dies.
Batman is the best
This is the most generic Batman theme ever. Bleh. Also, Giacchino totally ripped JXL's BvS Batman chord progression off. Fck this.
What I liked about this batman, is that he realized at the end of the movie that he needed to be more then just a nightmare for criminals. Especially through the beginning we saw how that man he saved was also afraid of him. At the end realized that while the criminals have to fear him at the same the civilians have to see him as a Symbole of hope, that one day gotham will be saved
He changed his mind from being the Vengeance to became the Justice

I'm sensing a Wayne suite somewhere in it.
I have a feeling it’ll play when Bruce and Selina are on screen together… The softness indicating something romantic or at least a definite connection but then as the theme starts to become darker, they turn away as they can’t have that kind of relationship right now. Then becoming epic again as it leads into Batman doing what he does best, the mission. Just a theory but pretty much what I saw listening to this. It’s a great theme.
@@Kendog282 I was imagining them showing Wayne manor or what it used to be then get to the decay and Bruce alone and his equipment in the cave
This song perfectly imbodies Batman. For 90% of the theme, it was relatively quiet (cuz batman doesn't really take action immediately, rather plans) until the end when nobody expects it 5:52 where it suddenly rises (when he takes action when nobody expects it) and ends quickly at 6:25, where it returns to the normal level (when he leaves without a trace).
No one will realize they got Robert to stand there for completely 6 minutes

This truly does capture the feeling that being Batman isn’t a gift or a privilege but a curse.
"This is my gift, this is my curse."
Batman and Spider-Man have always been similar in that regard. Often times they try to find happiness only for that to be yanked away. I vividly remember the scene in Mask of the Phantasm where he is begging his dead parents to let him have a normal life because “things are different now”, and the lightning that crackles in objection. He has a responsibility greater than himself to fulfill, and that is what truly makes a hero a hero. It's amazing how this is both the most mystical Batman but also the most human. They fear him in the shadows but he's also just a regular guy trying to get into a nightclub.
He also likes Nirvana and blueberries and hates dealing with accountants.
Matt Reeves' Batman is aimed at more mature audiences than Nolan's Batman
Rest in peace Kevin Conroy
I am Vengeance, I am the Knight, I AM BATMAN!!!
"What are you doing?" "Evening the Odds." RIP KEVIN CONROY
@@hainseyhockey i love batman arkham
Me Too.
Nothing against Kevin Conroy but why are you commenting this when this video has nothing to do with him? Sure it’s Batman but still.
Man I love this masterpiece The great batman 🌑
0:25 That soft cello run with the bass pizzicato caught my attention quickly as a tuba player. I like the melancholic sound of this piece.
I fell in love with Giacchino’s work ever since the Incredibles, Ratatouille, and of course, Up, and the man just keeps on delivering across all genres.
Don't know if you ever watched the show Lost but that was when I first heard his stuff and was blown away.
Up has one of the my favorite soundtracks ever.
Don’t forget the new Star Trek stuff say what you want about the movies but the soundtrack(s) we’re too notch
I knew him from Lost. Such powerful themes in that show!
His work on planet of the apes is also underrated
One thing DC have almost always been consistent on are their scores. Animated, live-action, and video games. And now Michael Giacchino (who's been on a streak lately) is on that list with The Batman scores. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the scores, and I can’t wait until the movie comes out. It’s almost here.
100% agree
Other than Josstice League especially for Batman🤢
Never miss the mark. All them scores are epic, iconic, in short: high quality.
I would go beyond and say warner rarely had a bad score, nolan, villeneuve, dc, the list goes on
@@forrest.0569 well that wasn’t the true version of the movie so it doesn’t count
Can we just agree that this is the best superhero soundtrack ever made
No agreement clearly taken from Darth Vader.
@@Revvenge7 nope
@@Revvenge7 nope
No we cannot agree. You're overrating it. Superman is the best superhero soundtrack ever made.
Spiderman 3:
This is not a Batman theme, this is THE BATMAN theme
This better get an award!
As long it gets nominated for something I’ll be happy
@@Mr.WorldWide42069 Me too, but this soundtrack is my third best movie soundtrack ever, and the best Batman soundtrack, I really hope at least it wins the best movie score
At least for Cinematography, Set Design, Score, and Makeup no question. Everything else was phenomenal
@@aaronthebox I agree!!
great theme but batman returns theme is just better , to me i wish they could just keep the old theme just like 007 movies but one thing for sure it is the second best theme they ever did for any batman movie , i can see y this movie is a 10 outa 10
0:46 through 2:24 is so beautiful, gives this feeling of loneliness, darkness, but somewhere in all of that darkness theres hope. It fits so well to Robert’s batman
movie hasn't even come out. Know something pal?
@@julien_mglhs evidently you are musically illiterate. All of what the post above you said is true and can be felt just by listening to this theme
@@julien_mglhs Don't need to watch the movie to tell it has a feeling of loneliness, darkness etc. You can also tell from the trailers that the music fits Robs Batman so well
Then 4:40 the bat signal and its time to go back to being The night, The Vengeance, THE BATMAN.
That orchestral part reminded me of a James Gray film, especially The Yards. Maybe it's a tune inspired by Gustav Holst as well? Howard Shore who did the score for The Yards used a Holst piece as the theme for the film.
What a mysterious music.
Absolute masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥
I feel Gotham's melancholy, the terror... the justice and vengeance!
this is Batman at his purest wise but vengeful protective but dangerous human but hateful this man has seen the worst of mankind for the cowardly and superstitious lot that they are, and he is on a warpath to make them afraid of him.
@@thedude3065 I don’t know about wise. Wisdom comes with experience. I think the journey this Batman will experience in the movie will bring him that wisdom, and this theme reflects a redemption angle that I think will be a major theme of this film.
I picture Gotham as a symbol of society as a whole.
Who still thinks BvS theme is the best? #MakeTheBatfleckSoloMovie
