The Item Shops in Chapter 5 have been awful throughout the whole Chapter so far & today, I talk about how Epic is treating the Collaboration Cosmetics in the same way as their Original ones!

  • Epic is really trying with this new Shop Idea. Some of it is working but most of it isn't. Hopefully they don't continue to make more pointless changes to the Item Shop that nobody was asking for like removing the timer for example.     • 1. Collabs aren’t entirely up to Epic Games obviously. 2. Two words, Lego Fortnite. They’re trying to promote what’s usable so that’s why some stuff has or hasn’t returned. It’s annoying, but that’s just how it is for now at least.

  • And it feels like NOT A SINGLE ONE of the big creators says ANYTHING about that shady Bullshit with splitting up Bundles. First raise the price for VBucks and now split up Bundles to make it even more expensive

  • Problem is we can't really praise them for their bringing back "rare" cosmetics because the ones they're bringing back are obviously the skins that didn't come back for a reason. No one wanted them then, the only reason people want them now is because they see how long they've been out of the shop. We don't need items that haven't been in the shop for years, we just want to see variation and more desirable items that may haven't been back , and well bundles would be nice but I'm not gonna hold my breath

  • IMO its not only about the collab skins but the original ones too. I want to see some c2s2 skins in the shop and they never come back, despite them being in the shop months ago before chapter 5. They bring back the same skins with the interval of 4-40 days and its so annoying to look at, they're not even that good or interesting...

  • Arcane is literally my all time favorite show and I really what to get those costumes. I hoping they come by this November at least when Arcane season 2 comes out.

  • I doubt they're forgetting items with collabs, They're well aware of what items go with collab sets and are more likely actively choosing to leave them out, the only thing I don't get is why they'd purposefully leave items and the bundles out of the shop.

  • This is so true, idk why epic realease the same skins that no one wants, for example I really want the sash Sargent, and it never comes out it is such a great skin and it deserves a return, and also the colabs that people will buy

  • The fact that bundles just don’t come back for most skins feels like early chapter 1 when epic was less consumer friendly

  • Any characters like gaming legends series really need a come back in the item but i dont know how long it will take, cause i miss a few from the past chapters. but i got like 7 or 9 of them so hopfully i need them to see them come back. if not then many people will not be happy with it. and look this item design is really not my style. but the old design like from chatper 4 season 1 and 4. thats the best one

    • They're doing this with all of the bundles they're bringing back that used to have emotes. Even those Doodoo gaming icon series skins that just came back. The emotes were the only good part of those sets. Feel like at this rate they're probably not going to be doing more content creator locker bundles because it would go against their formula of making us buy everything à la cart

  • At this point it has to be something with the contracts marvel and Fortnite most be real close tbh. and others like MHA,Rick and morty,DBZ and others always come back. AOT,naruto, and others are basically forgotten. The Sony skins like Kraros,aloy and others like master chief etzio and most gaming legends skins probably have to have some new content for promotional shit if there gonna have a chance at coming back

  • They're bringing back the skins that got converted to Lego... that's all they care about right now. No wraps, no music packs, no emotes. Lucky if you get the pickaxes and gliders. The Weeknd and any Festival featured artist will probably be there the whole Festival season.

    • I think they should have at the very least removed The Weeknd Combat Cosmetics from the shops after 2 weeks and then brought it back around when Fortnite Festival Season 1 ends. This would have given more people the incentive to purchase the Festival Pass install of the Shop version which is the same price.

  • They just brought back Jack skeleton and forgot his bundle and emote 😭 yet they brought him back a month ago with this shop UI and they had everything for him. At this point don’t get excited for anything in the shop anymore.

  • I think the issue with most returning collab skins has more to do with licensing agreements. I would imagine their contract discusses how often Epic is allowed to sell the items

  • This is just my opinion but maybe they are doing this since they gotta pay apple a huge chunk of money and need as much money as they can get? Regardless it’s no excuse to not bring bundles, I was going to buy sypherpk but didn’t since he was not in a bundle.
