For real like some of these not being fatal can only go down to divine intervention cos no one should’ve survived this sh*t (and obviously goes without saying the immediate aid on set + the phenomenal medical staff saving their lives therefore gifting us all more years of these stars projects some of them so SO ✨iconic✨) but you’re bang on the money its gotta be the combination of this!!

When it comes to actors and actresses that have almost died multiple times on the sets of movies and TV shows, it's hard to top anything that Jackie Chan has done. The guy has broken probably every bone in his body throughout his film career, and has almost died multiple times, Armour of God being the one that almost took his life very early on his career. It's not only a good thing that Jackie Chan and everyone on this list survived all of their near death incidents, but God and his angels must've been watching over all of them when it happened.

Daniel Day Lewis is insane. He spends so much time being in character that he doesn't know how to talk with people on a regular level.
The Wicked Witch pyrotechnic mistake gets even worse when you learn that the green makeup she was wearing, was made from a copper base. A toxic level. So when she received those burns, they couldn't just wash the paint off, because if it got into the wounds, it could cause a life threatening infection. x.x

Robert Helpmann on the set of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The wagon he was driving flipped over, but thanks to his dance skills, he ran over the wagon as it was turning over, jumped off and rolled to safety. Dick Van Dike said it was an amazing sight.

As I am a Big Dylan O'Brien fan I knew the story about what happened and glad he was ok he is so young and still have a great career ahead of him. He was 26 or 27 when it happened and just think of this it happened in Feb of 2016 and he had 6 months of recovery and then start working on Amercian Assassin he had to must have gone thought Hell to recover and come back like that I have mad respect for him and actors who does this and come and keep acting.

Buddy from the Wizard of Oz did not have an allergic reaction. The makeup he wore was aluminum powder that he inhaled so much of that it coated his lungs which could have killed him. After the tin man was recast, the powder makeup had to be turned into a paste instead.

I heard on the DVD commentary of Twilight that Robert Pattinson almost died falling from a stair balcony in a stunt during the scene where Edward tries to protect Bella from James.
Not exactly near-fatal, but during filming of The Wolf Of Wall Street the handle of a prop briefcase broke and Leonardo DiCaprio was almost hit by a car.

Considering you filled up the list of 30 and still get to mention actress Sarah Polley on the set of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (When she was a freaking child!), that tells you the level of danger on set. Also, Terry Gilliam must have the same affliction as James Cameron that prevents a person from apologizing for getting someone killed. 😒 (To be fair, the people primarily responsible for keeping Sarah safe during filming really were her parents. They chose to defer Gilliam and staff. But he never seemed notice she nor anyone else was in danger.)
Filming a movie can be dangerous sometimes, and some people lost their lives filming a movie. Safely should be a number one priority when making a movie, no matter the genre. Enough said.

That Mummy story is an Urban Legend. Simon Crane, the stunt coordinator did the fall through the trap door on the gallows. Before he did the closeup, Brendan tightened the noose, stood on his tiptoes and fainted like the big sissy that he is. There was a large crew, other actors and all of those extras who lived in the apartment complex that served as the "prison" ,who were witnesses. Brendan thinks none of those people have computers. We do.
