Confidence & How to Find It [2 Ways]

Where does a feeling of confidence come from? How can we become confident? In this video, I share my understanding of the two kinds of confidence: conditioned & unconditioned.
Some of us are struggling to find a sense of confidence, and some of us already feel confident. But depending on the source of it, our confidence could be weak, strong, or unshakable.
The typical sense of confidence is built on knowledge and experience, and depends on accumulating conditions over time. A lesser-discussed kind of confidence comes from non-attachment to ideas and knowledge. This may sound like passivity and even lack of confidence, but to the contrary, it's the most unshakable kind of conviction.

  • I like the sound and visual effects much better of the session separators in this video:) the sound effect arises a feeling in me as 'here comes something important and mysterious' lol. apart from that, this video inspired me to think, the contrary to self-confidence, which is self distrust, also come from knowledge and experiences and our attachment to them. especially if someone grew up in a harsh or toxic environment, they might have learnt over and over again that they are nothing more than a disappointment. Being able to become aware of these attachment will also lead to self confidence and peace. I would appreciate it if you could talk about this side.

    • @@DavidListenMentalHealth thanks in advance! Actually the change in the visual effects made a bigger difference to me. The previous one feels like you were dismantled and came out of the screen to charge at me lol
