Is there a difference between having a crush on someone and someone who genuinely cares for you? I have a crush on my best friend and we’re both really close to the extent that we tell people we’re related. I started falling for his quirks overtime and it’s been a year already. He treats me differently from other girls by sending me home from school and fetched me to school as well. He’d even lend me his jacket to use even if I’m not feeling cold. He has guy friends who he spends a lot of time with, but still chose to ask me during the weekends instead of them. He even let me play with his hair whenever I’m bored and doesn’t offer this to others even if they asked. Now that we’re both in different classes in school and that we have online classes instead, I barely hang out with him. But, we text almost everyday. He’s not the kind to take selfies (like he gave me his password to his phone, I’ve seen his galleries, aint no selfies) but he would casually send some to me over text. My favourite conversation of us would be me showing a screenshot of my conversation with my current classmate and he questioned the background of the chat (which is a picture of a famous youtuber’s baby brother) and less than an hour later, he bombarded me with a picture of his little baby brother. I can’t tell if he has a crush on me or if he simply cares for me. It’s in-between and it’s bothering me. I want to confess, but I’m scared to ruin what I’ve spent a year building up with him.

Well um.. He does: 1. Stares at my desk while i am at the washroom. My friends tell me. 2. He flips his hair in front of me. 3. He *accidentally* hit me on the shoulder and touches my shoulder 4. Follows me when I am in the hallway 5.he plays basketball and accidentally rolls it to me and talks to me afterwards Last one, He always asks me questions and when i get it wrong he says that "Maybe we can work together next time" and I really did. His pencil kept dropping beside or underneath my chair and he always picks up and ends up touching my elbow with his head.. And he always answers my question then leans over to my desk and helps me.
