I always thought BeamNG should offer an age or mileage adjustment for vehicles, that would include drivetrain wear / damage in intervals of 50k miles or something.

It's not that simple though. They would have to add options for what kind of wear and abuse the engine took, because there can be engines with 150k miles that drive like they're new.

Is it so hard to ask for working odometers in the game? I’ve driven the d-series for what feels like 10,000 miles and it makes me somewhat sad to not have a log.

Yo..... um.... Wow. Just rebuilt my old Ford engine, went from burning several quarts, frozen rings, 2 cracked pistons, and a oil pain full of gas, to New parts and ZERO blow-by... That was quite a bit or work. I should've just driven to work using BeamNG.

you can, you just need to put in a turbocharger, or a supercharger, maybe a bigger engine with larger displacement. turbochargers and superchargers put more air into the engine, which also puts more fuel into the engine. thus more power. you can't just put more fuel in than air, that'll cause efficiency problems. the two should be equally balanced to give the most power efficiency

yeah. I'm not seeing a whole lot of abject and clear effects of the worn and the rebuilt engine. it's more down to the figures it seems. but then, diesels do what diesels do best. they make torque, they love boost, they love to pull, and they will last a long time. when you compair a diesel to a Gasoline of the same size and displacement and all other things, it's like compairing a draft horse to a race horse. they're both beautiful beasts and can mostly do much the same thing and be good at it, but you dont win medals riding a draft horse, and you dont plow fields or pull stumps with a race horse. just not built for it

Very few do what I do with this game. Pretty much everyone makes crash videos.

@@ForgottenMustard Yes, no one really records soch videos, maybe because not everyone does it the same way as you do. So in reality, real cars are tested in factory testing conditions. Many people do not find it practical to do this in the game because computer games are designed for entertainment. If my English is dad then l have nothing to do with it.
