I Redesigned and Built Classic/Old Minecraft Minigames like dropper, spleef, and survival games on this Minecraft SMP... Then made it into a real amusement park!
This video was inspired by Tazoh, Sandiction, Carvs, Wenzo, Myles as well as the Hermitcraft server! Instead of a normal hardcore world, this is a hardcore SMP with me, Aeon, building cool and big Redstone builds in Minecraft.

  • The old spark isn't just re-ignited because you remade games you loved, it's because you built something you loved. Minecraft is aboit having fun, building your heart out, having a good time. You had that good time in those old mini games, but the reason you had trouble in the beginning is because you weren't building that old love, just the games. Then you built the ice boat, and then you had friends on. You had fun again. That's the old Minecraft spark. Just playing around and having fun. And that's what you've achieved :)

  • The thing that makes older mini games so much more fun is the tendency to remember the good of the past over the bad in the human mind. When this is combined with the simplicity of games like spleef or an old dropper, it allows for short, exciting, fun games that are essentially the essence of childhood for early Minecrafters. I joined Minecraft during the world of color update of 1.12 which was released 6 years ago. I have good memories of older games.

  • This actually made me cry so much I remember when I first got an Xbox I played Minecraft all the time with my siblings and all the fun times we had all the maps we had I still have my original copy of the game and will never let it go. I remember getting on with friends from school and just playing for hours enjoying myself and laughing while raging here and there 😅, now I don't get to see them bc my older ones moved and out and I work I miss being able to play Minecraft with them and making memories. And you saying, "life is stressful and hard, but once you stop trying to escape that feeling you might just catch a glimpse of the old memories once lived" I just balled bc I realized playing Xbox pays off and there's old clips of me and my siblings when we first started playing. Thank you so much for this honestly I never really realized how much I missed the passed till I watched this I think I might play some old Minecraft tomorrow. I also still have mine and my sister's old creative world

  • Hey Aeon for the spleef I know this isn't the original look of it, but if you didnt want to replace the snow everytime you could use cobblestone and then cobblestone generators to refresh the board. With a good enough pickaxe and a beacon you can instamine it and it requires less set up work. Just a thought :) ALSO Let him into lifesteal.... you cant hide that #lifestealapp in there buddy boy

  • You, Aeon, brought back the memories I had by watching this video. Minecraft was the thing I was OBSESSED with since it came out and I could never just... not play it. The Aether Portal and Nether Reactor Core got me tearing up since I remember my first "Nether" biome and it was so exciting with the zombie pigmen and all the super cool loot that was out. The Aether Portal was a Minecraft players first disappointment... I remember crying about it not working and being all pissy too lol. This brought back the memories that I love and miss. I hope the next generation of kids will get to experience all the emotions we felt from Minecraft. Good job on sparking the memories dude, serious props.

  • I'm gonna be honest, I found my Xbox 360 while cleaning my room today, and the nostalgia slapped me harder than my dad. The old Xbox menu showed up. I was so excited to play some of my old games, and the first one was Minecraft. It loaded up and an old song played and HOLY SH*T I WAS HOLDING BACK TEARS. I clicked the Mini games button to see if people would still be playing it. I clicked Spleef hoping to see someone, but no one was there in the lobby. So I had looked around the lobby and I actually started crying. It was so nostalgic and I was balling my eyes out. "Minecraft was never meant to be relived, but to simply be lived." -Aeon 2023
