Wow! That is truly incredible camera work. As someone who has played with portal-like camera effects in a game engine, that is some really complicated stuff and this effect looks incredible! Congrats to this map maker. Crazy talented!
This reminds me of a game called neoball. It’s a top down view of rl where the goals are portals. Leth should absolutely play it

Rocket League but when you flip you shoot a portal from Portal. Also the car and the ball both go through the portal. Each team controls a color. You can either work together or screw each other over. Also if you can do it in a portal map.

Pacman physics. It's as if there are infinite copies of the game happening that are all connected, so when one person leaves another copy enters from the opposite side at that exact moment.

its crazy how someone can just make a full reflection in rocket league work through the goals, but AAA games cant makes reflections in the rear view of vehicles work.
Make a rocket league version of jet lag the game, RNG determines maps mutators etc. Whoever wins matches gets points to use on defects for the other team. Could be used for ur custom maps too or mayyyyybe other plugins like the extra rumble power ups and stuff idk how that works with ur maps.
Portal on RL: a rumble powerup for opening up a portal on the surface your car's nose is pointing towards, and the opposite (or symmetrical) side on the field. Or in 2v2, a player from each team can open either a blue or orange portal. As a Portal fan i think i would love this :p

backseat mapping: the surface and the trigger should be placed a bit further back to prevent crossbar/post hits counting as goals while also still having a post in the first place. I also wonder if the transition could be made smoother like in portal but that's probably asking a bit too much. What I mean is that the ballcam is disorienting, if there's a way to stay locked on the ball where it would be after a goal instead of where it is, maybe until reenabling ballcam or going through the net yourself, that would probably be more playable tbh

When i saw the reflection in the goal i though, what about a mirror map? A map where all the walls are mirrors. You dont know when you will drive up a wall or hut the ceiling. It would be infinite too
